I want to wholesale and need to know where to start. What is the first thing I need to do besides figure out what I want to sell? I already know I want to sell childrens clothing and shoes.

SCORE is an organization (score.org) that have counselors for small business' they are made up of volunteers. You can actually set up an appointment with them to discuss your business plan. Or if there is not an office near you oryou would rather email, they have volunteers that will respondto your email. Usually for emailing, they will match you with a volunteerthat is familiar with your area. This can be nice because if you have a question you can just drop him/her an email. The volunteers are retired business people.
Speaking of business plan...that is one thing SCORE recommends doing. They have a worksheet that is downloadable at their site.
