This Scent Sational Sunday evening was lovely.


A woman joined Mia Bella tonight who is a burned out property manager. She is SOO EXCITED to get going with her Mia Bella business and leave her office J.O.B. behind.


She said that her job is exremely stressful and has had it. She LOVESSS candles and loves business!


She reminded me of me a few years ago. I had a hard time on Sunday nights, knowing what Monday morning would be like.... extremely unpleasant and stressful.


Now I LOVE SUNDAY NIGHTS and MONDAY MORNINGS "working" in my PJs! Yep, created a Scent-Sational multi-million $$$$ business at home all snuggly (no traffic!)and helping others do the same!


What a great gift we have to offer.... incredible products that people love, great company and super team tools and people.

I don't mean to sound condiscending to Lori by any means. I think that is great, but I personally know one of the directors within the company and i dont believe even they are making millions!!


I think we should all be realistic in our goals and acomplishments. Most of us wont become multimillionaires, and that is ok, as long as we are doing something we love and making a "great" income doing it!!

I think she meant that the candle business is a multi-million dollar business... unlike selling roasted newts which may not be a mutli-million dollar business. smileys/smiley9.gif

I also agree that is what she most likely meant. I too also agree though that we should be up front here with everyone. We have new distributors joining every day and visiting this forum and we wouldn't want them to get discouraged if their not making "millions" with this company after they have been here for a while. We all are trying to do our best with this business and have fun with it at the same time. I have been with scent-sations since 2004 and while I think I'm doing ok, I am far from making millions, but if some ofyou can and do then that is just fantastic. We are all very happy for everyone. Some of my team members read posts on here and get discouraged because they think their doing something wrong cause of other posts that make it sound like their signing on a new recruit every hour. That doesn't happen for everyone. I don't want to step on any toes here so please don't take what I posted wrong but I just thought it would be nice to say for those distributors that are going at the pace that works best for them. I wish you all nothing but the best with this great business and if we all become millionaires together then that will be icing on the cake. Have a great day!

The point is we ALL have our hands on something GREAT!!


I "three wayed" the new distributor I referred to above to our Team Call last night. I wantedher to hear the great support we have and all that's going on with this business. We only caught the last 10 minutes or so. I was amazed all over again. There is so much one can do with "their business."


I would suggest that people who are starting in the homebased business industry to listen to http://www.danijohnson.com (http://www.danijohnson.com) and http://www.mlm911.com . They can hear recorded calls for free! If they are on the company and their team calls and hear what's going on with Mia Bella, they should be very encouraged.


It certainly takesWORK as any business does, but it's SO WORTH IT!

JC, I think you're reading more into Lori's posts than what's there. I think to some degree I speak for all us when I say at some point we ALL do business in our PJs (or nighties, or negligees, or nude, or whatever..smileys/smiley36.gif). It doesn't mean we're all rolling in dough. I just started out, and if anything posts like Lori's and Jackie U's inspire me to keep plugging away even on dayswhen I feel like it's notworth it.


I admit I envy Lori's success, but she's not doing anything I can't do, so I watch and learn. Someday we'll all be sharing success stories of working in our underwear smileys/smiley1.gif.

I probably am, but look at Jackie U. She is a PHENOMINAL leader and sheposts her encouraging words to us, but you know what is missing????? She encourages andTHAT IS ALL. she doesnt tell us all about her emails and 3 ways, and phone calls, etc. That is her success and her business and she doesnt need to be PRAISED!!! That is what defines a TRUE leader and i will look to HER for my inspriation. JMO!!! Edited by: jcblueyes

you don't have to envy anyone in this business. We are all independent and doing as good as we want to do. You just started you said so just enjoy this business it is so fun. There are people on a bunch of these forums that just like to make everyone think they are, like I said getting recruits every hour and making so much money and saying "oh you can to" which I know we can but it isn't as easy as they make it sound. If they were making that kind of money they wouldn't be on these forums believe me.haha. I think we are all doing great and that is the nice thing about this business we are independent and can go and work at our own pace. We can all come here to share ideas and help each other and just do the very best we can. Whatever we get out of this business is all good. One thing I do wish is that we all got equal support from our uplines so that we all had the same advantage but that isn't the case and we have to just do the best we can with what we have. That's why I ALWAYS say do your due diligence before you join any team in any company.


I have found it CAN and DOES make a difference.

Yes Lori, I do hope that happens for Connie, and all the rest of us with Mia Bella's. I have now learned how important it is to research your team and sponser before joining a company but unfortuately I did not know that before and will pay for that now I guess, but you know what? That's ok, because there are good people out there that are willing to take in some of us that don't have that training/support system you mentioned, and I will not quit and let my team go, so I will just move forward as best as I can and see what happens. All good I'm sure. I have fallen and got right back up and am ready to go! Good luck to everyone and if I can offer any help to any of you out there that doesn't have a support system or even if you do, feel free to email me anytime. While I agree that each team has their own training and support, I don't agree that being one team or another will make you more successful. We are all on the same team in essence smileys/smiley2.gif.


Don't get me wrong,you can get great training and support from your upline (or even great training in message boards sometimes - thank you everyone :0)) butwhat you do with your business is up to you to make it successful.


Ultimately in any business, you are in charge of your destiny - you are in charge of your success! Good luck everyone!
