I have someone that needs black votives for a wedding reception. I've been told that Patchouli Spice is black. Can someone verify that for me?
And also, can you tell me what you think it smells like? The description just says 'An Exotic Fragrance'. Not sure what that smells like.....

Hi Angie!
It's a very nice scent and it seems to remind people of a cologne people used to wear years ago?
I would advise you what I advised Teralee. I would order jars and have the bride or person who needs them smell them burning first. Then let them choose. I don't know if you have the Sample Bag. But that would be great for them to see the scents and smell them.
I think it's always better, if possible, to let people choose their own scents.
Just my 2 scents...http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif
I love weddings! Have FUN!

Thank you! I left her a message. I think ordering one of each is probably the best idea too! I love being able to come here and ask you guys for help!!forum_images/post_button_smiley.gif</font>
I just wasn't sure because when I called Corp I asked if we had any black candles and she said 'no'. So then I asked what color Patchouli Spice was and she had to ask someone else then came back and said 'black'.</font>forum_images/post_button_smiley.gif I'm guessing maybe she was new?!</font>

Patchouli spice is black and it has a strong incense aroma. It's very popular back in 70s and I know people here in Portland love it.smileys/smiley1.gif

Charlie!! LOL!
Kelly!!! We have many popular 'wedding' type aromas from florals like Gardenia (white), and Lavender (light purple) and Plumeria (light pink) to beautiful blues that are refreshing and clean like Heart of the Ocean and Sea Breeze.
Depending on the wedding colors, we surely have something to coordinate with any wedding!!!

Victorian Rose is awesome for wedding as well. I think the floral scents will work well for wedding, Water Lily & Jasmine is my favorite for floral scent.
