When I start out my new recruits, I give them a pack of catalogs, 10 R#9 samples, and a calendar. I also loan them an R#9 set for parties until they can afford to get their own.

Wow! That's generous (the catalogs, samples and calendar)! I have only up to this point given them a few catalogs, some EOA's, the @rbonne window cling and some "dittos". I think I'll re-evaulate. They really do need all the items you mentioned, asap. Thanks for sharing!!
Anyone else have any recommendations?

I also give them the book: The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson
It's my favorite!!

After the first month, I've been giving them the "Lead To Succeed" cd set. It's from the event for the Sojourner Center. You can get it under business aides. The cd with Euphiazene Linder (Rita's sister!) telling her story is funny and so inspirational!

The Arb0nne specific flash cards from www.dynamicproduction.com (http://www.dynamicproduction.com). I encourage them to get the IPA Tracker as well. Think back to when you first started...what was one of the first thngs you asked? I know for a lot of people it is "What should I say?" The flashcards are the perfect answer to that issue.

I give them the Wizard of Oz....no really!

Before any of you go off and start negatively bashing, let me just say there is a moral to that whole story if you really think about it.
If you follow the Yellow Brick Road (duplicatable system) you will find your way to the Emerald City. All you have to do is click your heels 3 times (find 3 recruits and have them find 3 and so on) and soon you will be realizing your wildest dreams! (making it to the top!)

I also give The Gift by Shad Helmstetter and the 45-second presentation. Dani Johnson has a lot of helpful material for consultants too.
