Hi christyk,

I'm doing low carb, low fat, low cal, high protein....started yesterday! So, far I love it. Out of everything I've ever tried....I had never done the low carb thing - now I'm wondering why!

Did you weigh and take your measurements?

I am still waiting on my foot to heal before I can start exercising like I want.

I do have a Slim In 6 on the way to me - should get it Mon or Tue - I'm hoping my foot will be well enough to get my shoe on!!

Ok, so we can help each other out! Looking forward to working with you http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

That sounds awesome. I started yesterdayand I have not taken measurements yet. I am going to do that right now. Yesterday I had for breakfast - omlet with peppers and salsa, lunch hotdog with no bun and fat free, sugar free jello, dinner - taco salad.

Today so far for lunch I had two hotdogs without buns and whole bunch of water.

I am off track for exercising and just can't find it in myself to get back on track :(

What did you do to your foot???? Hopefully it will be healed up soon!!!Edited by: christyk

I dropped a vacuum cleaner extension on it - I really think I cracked the bone between my ankle and toes - I did this over 2 weeks ago, the bruising is barely visible. There is still a knot and that's what makes it hard to get my shoe on. It's still sore and burns and hurts.

But, last night I did get my shoe on - leaving the laces loose. So, I jumped on the treadmill and walked for a mile. Same for this morning!!

Are you following a plan or just winging it?

FvMom started a thread on Kimkins, which is what I'm doing also. Look down a few and you'll see it. There's a link where you can get free info on it if you're interested. I did join the site and have found I love low carbing it!

Christy I am doing low carb as well (Kimkins) and it is awesome. I started last Monday and I am down 10.5 pounds already.

One thing that I found really helpful was putting everything that I eat or drink into fitday (http://www.fitday.com) it is free. You can also put in your goals and exercise or just your daily activites and there is a journal. Youcan make it private or public it is up to you.

Anyways good luck and have an amazing daysmileys/smiley20.gif

Trish I agree about fitday! Man, I've been putting off using it for the longest time, now I don't know what I'd do without it!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
