I am some 10+ pounds overweight. I just got my first order
of the Figure 8 Vanilla Shake.

UMMMMM GOOD. It's great.

It's like drinking a cake.

I really like the shakes! I suppose they may take some getting used to, but anyone who uses protein shakes would probably agree that Arbonne's are actually pleasant tasting! smileys/smiley36.gifProtein shakes are not known for their delicious flavor. LOL

But the thing about the Figure 8 shakes is ... the nutrition label! I've compared our Figure 8 shakes to EAS, Shaklee, and Reliv. I started doing the Body For Life program and I wanted to be sure I'm using the best quality protein shake mix.

Guess what? Arbonne is the better product when you compare label-to-label. I was actually surprised to learn that some "protein" shakes contain just as many carbs as protein ... and a lot of calories and sugar! No thanks. I'm sticking with Arbonne. After doing my own comparison shopping, I can see that Arbonne knows what they're doing.

Morning girls,

Throw some blueberries in there too... it is yummy with any kind of fruit and put in the blender.

My chocolate shake is on the way! I am on a tight budget so I have had to be patient & geta few products at a time. I have been using protein shakes on & off since my 1st pregnancy when I had gestational diabetes. I had to severly limit my carb intake. Fortunately, that was enough to keep my sugar stabalized. But I realized how much better I felt when I added more protein to my diet. I had so much more energy! So even after my pregnancy & I was cleared (no more diabetes!), I've still tried to keep lots of protein in my diet. It's difficult because most protein shakes aren't very palatable. I most recently have used the Body for Life shake & those are ok. Since I've read all these comments about how good the shakes are, I thought I would try them. I also ordered the mocha chews for that afternoon craving! Can't wait to get them!!!

OOHHHH! I love the mocha chews! I like coffee/choc combinations. I don't really like the vanilla shke so I mix the choc and vanilla and use it that way. I love that it doesn't have soy or sugar.

I have the BFL shake mix sitting on my counter and I'm afraid to use it! smileys/smiley36.gifI've been using the Figure 8 shakes on the BFL program and I've lost 4lbs in 10 days, so I'm going to stick with the Arbonne shakes. I'm afraid that if I switch to the BFL shakes it will mess up my progress. Here's a quick comparison:

Arbonne Figure 8:

110 calories

1.5g of fat

8g of carbs

6g of sugars

18g of protein

No sodium

plus an allowance of vitamins, minerals, alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, ginseng, stevia

pea protein
BFL shakes:

170! calories

1.5g fat

20g! of carbs

17g!! sugars

20g protein

200mg sodium

vitamin A, calcium, vitamin c, and iron

modified soy protein (sometimes known as "frankenfoods")
Thanks for the comparison! I finished the last of my BFL shakes a couple of days ago, so I couldn't compare it.

Wow, it looks like Arbonne's is much better!

"Frankenfoods"?!! smileys/smiley3.gif That's scary!

My MIL is doing Weight Watchers. Does anybody know how the shakes/chews work within that system?

The great thing about WW is that anything works well w/ it. She can look at the label to get her point value of the shakes.
