HEY EVERYONE!!!


Just wanted to let ya'll know that my Online party was a HIT!smileys/smiley32.gif smileys/smiley32.gifsmileys/smiley32.gifThanks to Andrea and Nat for coming and lending your support! Alethea and Deb thanks for wanting to come! smileys/smiley2.gifI know there would have been more team members there if ya'll would have known. We just love each other like that! Ooooh ya'll are sooooo wonderful I love ya'll!!smileys/smiley27.gif


I would highly recommend online parties to those of you who are considering them. This was my first one and I must say the turnout was quite good...I think there were like 10-12 folks there in all. WOW!! I coupled my party with a business opportunity meeting and may be getting a few customers and a couple team members out of it. That's a terrific statistic if you ask me.


A couple of quick suggestions for yours (if you're thinking of having one)


*Find a site that offers free party rooms. I use theseOnline Party Rooms (http://www.internetbasedmoms.com/online-party-rooms.html). I like how they schedule yourparty on a calendar so others can see what's going on.


*Make sure to schedule your party at a time so that it's not too late forthose of uson the East Coast. Mine was scheduled 5p-6:30 Pacific....so it was 8p-9:30p here. Not too late and not too early. (I feel like Goldilocks smileys/smiley36.gif)


*Offer something for those that attend. Plus you can offer a Mystery Hostess prize (everyone who attends gets their name put in a drrawing for the honor of being namedthe Mystery Hostess).


*If you want you can also do a "Special" for the night. My special was a discount on the Jar candle.


*Have some kind of game. I did a Scavenger Hunt. I have 4 websites associated with my Mia Bella Business (www.winamiabella.healthierscents.com (http://www.winamiabella.healthierscents.com), www.healthierscents.com (http://www.healthierscents.com), www.scentsforfundraising.com (http://www.scentsforfundraising.com) and www.homebizscents.com (http://www.homebizscents.com)) I came up with questions that they'd be able to find the answers to by visiting the sites. Plus I gave some of the answers during the party. Everyone seemed to like it.


*BE OPEN. Everyone asked lots of questions and I did a good job of answering them...if I do say so myself smileys/smiley9.gif


*Don't be surprised if it seems like you're only talking a little about your products. I gave a little introduction....answered a few product specific questions and spent the rest of the time chatting and answering questions on the business opportunity.


*For advertising I advertised on this board, sent a couple personal emails and advertised on the message board of www.internetbasedmoms.com (http://www.internetbasedmoms.com) That's the board that actually hosts the party rooms. I also did a lot of praying! That worked the best I think. smileys/smiley36.gif


All in all I had a great time. It was sooooo worth it! My next one is October 26th. I know that one will be even better!

Thanks for the congratulations! I offered all of our products plus gifts I'd made. I don't charge the customers shipping twice. I only charge them for shipping to them. It works better for me that way.

Thanks again for coming! Yep the Scavenger Hunt was ingenious. LOL I had 10 questions plus a bonus question. The questions were pretty easy too and they pretty much guaranteed visits to my sites AND educated the customer on our products and the opportunity. Now I'm just waiting for everyone's entries.

I am so happy that I was able to come and help out! You did a fabulous job if I may say so myself! I learned alot from you last night and plan on doing a party for myself sometime very soon!
