I thought it might be interesting to post a little "Get to Know You" thread. So, I posted about dinner-I assume that we are all eating it even if it is a Fig shake (Lord, I could use a few of those! LOL)

Anyway, in the arbnchic household tonight, we will be dining on Tuna Steaks brushed with fresh mint with fig and nectarine relish served on a bed of lightly steamed fresh spinach, green salad with grape tomatoes, sweet peppers, and cucumber, and a pineapple, cherry and maybe banana (does that even go with pineapples and cherries) fruit salad.

As soon as my mini arbn wakes from his morning nap, we are off to Central Market for the steaks, and a few vegetables that my organic produce co-op didn't send this time.(Just a plug-look for a produce co-op in your area-I pay $25 a week for a TON of organic produce-equivalent of around $75/wk if I bought it at Central Market) Oh, and also for some wine. I think some Casa LaPostolle Chardonnay will do just fine tonight. We will serve the older two vitamin water (ykim) and the babe milk.

So-who else wants to play?smileys/smiley4.gif

Bobby Flay, "Boy Meet Grill" I got it for my husband for Christmas. Then, I pick out recipes, make all the marinades and rubs for him so he can come home and grill. We are grilling FOOLS.Too bad our grill is so ancient now-it is a good seven years old-one of those quasi cheap Weber gas grills, but now, we are kinda attached to it. We have looked at new grills so many times. Even our three year old SCREAMS when we walk past a grill display at Target or Sam's, "Look MOM!! Girls-DADDY"S FAVORITE." I am sure that other shoppers are wondering what exactly THAT means."smileys/smiley17.gif

Sooo-no one here eats dinner?Interesting...picking must be good at your bizops. No grocery store veggie platters or worse-grocery store cheese trays for you gals.Ugh-cheese from a grocery is good for only one thing-grilled cheese and even those are pretty weak.I love REAL cheese.

I think I am going to make this thread my dinner blog. Read on ladies. I will post about the Grilled Pork Chops marinated in orange, ginger and toasted paprika that we are grilling tomorrow.Anyone want recipes?smileys/smiley36.gif Edited by: arbnchic

Oh my gosh, have you seen www.whatwereeating.com (http://www.whatwereeating.com)? They have the yummiest looking pictures of their dinners on there - and I discovered this site when I was pregnant - it was awful! I'd sit there at work just staring at the pictures and drooling all day... :)

We eat quite well and it shows (dang it...I've got to start doing the shakes http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif) Tonight is our anniversary, so we are going OUT to eat! yay!
