Hi! I am new to Arbonne and I have a question about selling the
products - retail - if someone doesn't want to become a
consultant. I have asked my upline and they, too, are very new so
no one knows...
If someone wants to place an order with me - how do I do it? I
see the order forms in the catalog and I see that they can use their
credit card. I can go online and place the order, but would
Arbonne then send me a check for the 35% commission? Also, for
tax, do I charge them the percent where I live or where they live?
Thanks a ton!!!

Ifsomone wants to order from you(and you do not have a website), they can go to www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com) and Shop On-line.
When itasksthem to login, they can register as a Client. They simplyenter your ID number (so you'll get credit) and follow the shopping website. The system will charge them the appropriate tax based on where they live.
If you've placed a minimum $100 orders that month, and your override check will total over $25, Arbonne will send to you the following month.
(Arbonne will only cut a commission check when you accumulate at least $25...helps to save on mailing!)
Hope this helps!

Thanks! That makes perfect sense. I had a girl try the
RE9. She likes the products but didn't want to take the time to
do a 6 step process. (I tried to tell her it didn't take that
long) Anyway, she loves the products and took the catalog with
her to work. She works for a local news channel so I told her to
pass the catalog around! We will see!!
Thanks again!

Remember the key is in the follow-up!
Let her know you can help with gift giving for the holidays too...have her friend pass the catalog around, collect orders and offer her Arbonne's Hostess Special ($100 for $20 w/every $250 in retail orders!)

Don't forget the $100 minimum order you have to place in the month if you want to get your commission check(as mentioned above). I know because this happened to me, I didn't get my first check. My upline was also new and didn't know to tell me that. GL

Another way you can do it is to Call ARbonne and tell them that you want the 35% commission put on your check.

Wow! Thanks for all of the help. Like I said, my upline is
also very new so we are learning together. She works outside the
home full time and I don't, I have been trying to learn as much as
possible. I have been burning CDs from the learn and burn to
listen to. Neither one of us went to a presentation. Her
friend signed her up, long distance. Fortuantely we have training
close by so we go once a week at night and I just found out they have
morning training sessions that are more like what we need. I will
start those on Monday.
Thanks again, I really appreciate it!!!

Hello, I'm new to this forum and have started my Arbonne business in August after a training with Stacy Thorn. I just came across this same situation last week for the first time and I just want to make sure that I have this correct, because I ended up putting the order in under my ID and on my credit card instead of the client (and I then collected a check instead from the client). But if we sign them up as a client, and they place an order (and we've made our $100 minimum), then Arbonne will put the 35% profit on our override check? Volume gets counted toward our numbers and we still get the 8% on the sale? Or do you have to actually call in the order and tell them you want the 35% profit on your check?
Being able to place orders with the clients credit card and still make the profit would help a lot! I usually just take a check, but this client wanted to pay with credit card, which I said we accepted but couldn't figure out how to get the profit. One more question, if they sign up as a "client" can they later register as a consultant?
Thanks!smileys/smiley1.gif

I had a retail client go online and make her own order and use her cc and pay the retail price. She needed my conslultant ID# only to do this and I got the credit for the volume of the sale plus got the 35% profit on my next check from Arbonne. This is definitely the best way for retail clients to shop, just make sure they have your ID#. Also, I had a client who did later sign up to be a consultant. Good luck!

When I get paid by check I just put it in as a consultant order and then have it shipped to my client. When they pay by credit card I put them in as a client. I just input all of their info as if they are ordering themselves. If you have a website this is easier, if you don't you would just go to Arbonne.com and make sure to input their info including your consultant id so you get credit.
As far as the % made. As a consultant you make 35% from your sales and then 4% from your direct recruits' sales. As a district manager you get 35% from your sales plus another 8% override commission from your sales and then 8% from your downline.
Hope this helps smileys/smiley1.gif

This is also an awesome feature of having your web site. You can also add this to you biz card to generate more traffic to your site. Also, if you have a prospect they can look at your why story etc and find out a little bit about you and why/how you got started. Good luck new Arbonettes!!
