Hello, I have read some of the post here and wanted to write for some advice. I have been working with a girl already, she is fantastic so I am not looking for a sponsor if I should decide to sign up because I would definitly sign up under her since she contacted me first and has been so informative, but here are my concerns:
After reading some of your posts my concerns are about the waiting period to receive your products and not so much the quality of the products.
You have posted several times some of you that you have had a terrible time in receiving some of your orders and have been put on back orders and still waiting to receive your orders.
That sorta scares me, because customer service is the make or break of a good sales consultant and if you place an order for someone (client) and it does not arrive on time or is back ordered for weeks and you have to keep putting your customer off then you start to loose business andbefore long word of mouth is out and that kills you chances of getting repeat orders and signing up new consultants.
How do you ladies generally feel about ARBONNE and their track record?
Please respond privately with comments please

Hi
I think that the majority of the shipping prpoblems are resolved. Some of the shipments were & may still be delayed, but all my orders have been shipping right away. I think they just have an enormous backlog that is taking longer than anticipated to get cleared out!
Yes, the hold times are long, but I can usually do everything online or go to my uplinefor answers!
I personally like that they go ahead & ship partial orders, that way you get what they do have asap!
Your nvphas a back order report, check with her if you have any questions about a particular item!
Good luck!

I know you requested to respond privately but I prefer to do it on the board. That way if there are others with similar concerns they can benefit from the answers as well. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
There have been several posts on shipping along with responses on what the causes of those problems were. That is not the norm with Arbonne. They converted their computer system to a new & improved one to help serve all of us better. It had to be done & there probably never would've been a good time to do it. But I think getting it in before the holiday rush was pretty important. Unfortunately the system had a glitch & caused some further issues. They have gotten it all back on track now. Those of us who have been with Arbonne awhile know that they are very good at getting our orders out within 1-2 days of ordering it.
A couple of months ago Bob Henry said there are 1000 people signing up with Arbonne a day. I am sure that number has increased. Numbers like that are going to, naturally, cause backorders. There are so many people joining & placing orders that they have to adjust for the tidal wave. (I don't think anyone knew just how big that wave was going to be!)They have hired extra staff for more shifts & whatnot to help with this as well as have other things in the works. (Like a second distribution center, yea!) Arbonne knows how important good customer service is, they pride themselves on it. They know how having products backordered affects us negatively so they are working to fix the issue. I have every confidence in them that it will be done and as soon as possible.
This is an amazing time to be a part of Arbonne. Yes, there are growing issues but that’s part of having a successful business. As consultants we have the choice to either let those temporary problems stop us from attaining the success we know is possible or working through them. smileys/smiley1.gif

Those of us who are new to Arbonne can only speak
of personal experience. That is the only truth to us.
Thanks,

In the 4 years I've been with Arbonne, this is the first time I've experienced backorders and slowness in shipping. I know they will rectify the situation ... Arbonneis currentlymaking adjustments (building a new east coast distribution facility, for example) to accomodate the extremely fast growth they are experiencing.
It has been inconvenient, but I truly believe it is a temporary situation. smileys/smiley1.gif

I totally understand your concern but will tell you that even w/ the shipping problems we have seen it is still muchbetter than most other companies. I sold for Southern Living and while they too had great products it could take three weeks to get shipments. There were also minimums so someone couldn't just order one thing or you'd have to wait to accumulate several orders before placing the order. Backorders would last for 2+ months. There are other companies out there that also work about the same with longer shipping times. Arbonne is typically a week.I love every aspect of the business. You can really make a living selling Arbonne, it just takes time to build the business. Keep doing your research b/c once you decide to go full force you'll need to know that you did what was best for you in order to succeed!

The more I hear people defend Arbonne,
the more I believer this is simply a passing
ordeal with the delays, wrong/incomplete
orders, etc.
I still feel good (very good) about my Arbonne
business.

One of the positive aspects of the shipping problem is that we are GROWING RAPIDLY...Arbonne is definitely a company that listens to the field. When we put these problems behind us everything will be great again. Arbonne is a great Biz Mary, make sure you read, listen and watch as much as you can. Having a supportive upline definitely helps and attending meetings etc. is a great way to keep yourself motiovated. I have learned so much about myself from doing this biz and I am learning more every day.

I wanted to reply also because I have been guilty of whining about bakorders and hold times, but I can say that I LOVE this company and I know it will all be resolved asap, most of italready hasbeen. I just joinedin Feb. and didn't start working the biz until May and I always had orders ship ontime until the conversion, and like everyone else has said, it had to be done and now it will be even better!! Keep researching and think positive!! smileys/smiley2.gif

Mary, I forgot to add that because of all the backlog due to the conversion last month, Arbonne let anyone who was in qualification, anyone who was new in Aug., and anyone who promoted someone out in the previous 2 months pass off last month as a wash and didn't require the maintenenace for that month. This is an incredible thing they did as a great way of making it up to us!!!

I signed up as a new consultant on Saturday, Sept. 17 via the internet.
At the time of sign up, I also placed an order.
On Tuesday, Sept. 20, my products and the "Now You're in Business" kit
arrived. I am really impressed with this excellent delivery!!
