I'm in a bind.....as stated in a previous post our team of 4 has a great opportunity to go over and do a pampering session for a group of 30-40 ladies along with some massage therapist and nail techs. It for a group of ladies whos husbands are overseas. Most of us on our team wants to do it as a volunteer service to promote our spas and get bookingand make a few bucks for the cost of samples by selling inventory. The other gal is ALL about themoney and compensation for our time to be paid by the lady in charge. I'd leave her at home if I could JK!!
I know they have funds available and she is not expecting us to do it for nothing, but how do you go about asking how much is available? The ball is in ourcourt because without the 4 of us they don't think they could pull it off, but I don't want to take advantage either!!!
My team matewants me to suggest that they buy $10 GC for everyone who goes through...well that would be $300+.Then putting together some baskets for door prizes and for each station they visit they get put there name inthe drawing for the basket(s). My teammate is comparing what we should get to a massage therapist gets $1 a minute for a chair massage, and if 20 people got a chair massage that day they paid out $300...but I don't think for a function like this that would be how they would charge.
Thenmy idea in the previous post is if each person would make a basket we'd do the raffle, but there is no way of knowing how that will turn out, and the profits would go to charity, so that is notgoing to benefit us except for the wholesale cost of the basket, so to me that more then pays for our samples.
Any other ideas?!?

I would suggest a $30 gift certificate drawing per hour (or however you decide to figure the amount). That way you will get paid an hourly rate for your time, but the recipient will not have to pay for it. Does that make sense? Maybe ask if they would pay for 4 $50 gift certificates or something that would be raffled off to the participants. You could also have a drawing for everyone that comes to the booth to receive a free MDA treatment. Then everyone that registers can win, and you will receive a good lead! Hope this makes sense. I know I misread your message last time! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley29.gifMarie
ps - since you are offering a free TREATMENT and not a free PRODUCT you will be making money on anything that is purchased from the demo. You could divide up all the leads between the four of you. Edited by: mlbo
