View Full Version : First Class...Whew!

I survived!!! Just wanted to share my experience...I did my 1st presentation today for my biz builder's launch party. Mybbwanted to do it without the upline so I was the lead. What an experience! I did the Left, Right game making it a tad bit easier on myself. I briefly touched on the Prolief & Phyto as 5 of the 7 were over 50, and then we did the RE9 demo. We had 2 order over $250 each & sign up as wholesale buyers& the other 5 ordered just over $250 collectively.

Learneda couple of do's & don'ts.

*We gave them the option of doing the demo on their hand or face. Most did the face, only 1 did the hand.

*We had freestanding mirrors ($1 at the Dollar General-nice green & white marble look-Arbonne colorssmileys/smiley2.gif) and warmwhite washcloths to wash their faces. They seemed to really like watching as they applied the products.

*As we wound down and were ready to take orders, no one really went off by themselves with me to place the order. It became a little chaotic as everyone was asking questions, chatting, etc at the same time. Next time I will be a little more forceful about doing this. Once we had taken someone's order, we had also planned on offering 1 set or product at 35% off as a thank you for ordering (to boost volume). We didn't end up doing this because we did not want to announce it before the orders were placed.

I LOVE this business!!Edited by: Kiana's Mom

What is the left, right game?

Thanks Major!

Here you go Leapfrog:
<DIV =postcolor>*Hand the small Arbonne gift to the guest closest to you, i.e. a
small hand cream, herbal foot care, etc. Tie a cute bow around it! Explain that the object of this story is not only for them to learn about Arbonne, but they have to tune up their listening skills to hear the words "left" and "right." As soon as they hear either word, the person who has the gift in their hand has to pass it to the
person next to them according to the direction that was mentioned. At the end of the story, the person who has the gift in their hand wins.

The story goes like this:
What is Arbonne you say? Well, let me tell you "right" now what it's all about. The company is named after a town in Switzerland-the land
of precision and cleanliness. Arbonne means "Good things from the earth." There is a man whose name is Petter Morck, who "left" Norway
for Switzerland in 1975 to create a skin care line that would address three issues: Purity, Safety, and Beneficial Results. He knew that a lot of the products people were using had ingredients in them that when "left" on the skin, were not the most beneficial for the overall health of the skin. He also knew that our skin is the largest organ of the body, and whatever anyone has "left" on their skin penetrates the skin, and can go into the bloodstream and affect other internal organs. Our skin breaths out waste and toxins, and takes in oxygen, moisture and nutrients. Ingredients used in most American skin care formulations contain potentially harmful ingredients, or at the very least ingredients that can cause allergic reactions and they can interfere with the natural function of the skin or interfere with the latest technology "advanced delivery systems". There are many companies that use products such as artificial colors, fragrances, animal and human by-products, fillers, waxes, parafen's and
mineral oil. Let's talk about ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS. Did you know that the most prestigious cosmetic companies in this country purchase ingredients from Rendering Plants? These are collection centers for animal carcasses, such as road kill, diseased farm animals, euthanized cats and dogs from veterinary practices, and old restaurant grease. They boil the dead animals, mix the residue with the restaurant grease and get a rendered, greasy by-product that cosmetic companies use for lip and eye makeup, as well as facial creams and soaps. These are all ingredients that are not "right" for the skin. Arbonne International products are for the discriminative label-reading consumer. Aren't you happy to know I am here to recommend products that are guaranteed not to have these ingredients in them?

Knowing all of this, Petter brought together a team of leading biochemists, biologists and chemists and created the Arbonne line of skin care and body care products. The product line and philosophy fulfilled his vision to produce the safest, purest and most beneficial skin care and body care line. "The "Right" Products For The Overall Health of Your Skin".

On the first page of the catalogue, on the "left" side of the page, Arbonne has seals of approval for "Beauty without Cruelty" and "Friends of the Environment"- these seals are very hard for companies to get. Isn't it nice to know that all of Arbonne's skin care products are manufactured in accordance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices. And, Arbonne's skin care products are
reviewed by internationally-known Ph.D.'s with over 60 years' cumulative experience. Arbonne products are formulated under European standards. This means that the ingredients are the purest and safest that can be found, formulated under the highest standards. Again ensuring that when you use your products as directed, the "right" way, you will be getting the results that only master skin care formulators can promise from their skin care line.

If you look on the back page of your catalog, you will see a botanical glossary with a list of the type of ingredients that are "left" on your skin when you use the Arbonne line. And these are not the only ingredients "left" on the skin. Arbonne also utilizes a unique delivery system - nanosphere technology - nanospheres that are infused with beneficial ingredients like antioxidant vitamins for the skin, the best botanicals and herbs and the most recent anti-aging ingredients introduced to the cosmetic world. Arbonne makes sure that ingredients are not just "left", they penetrate deep into the skin to protect, condition and stimulate your own collagen production.

Please, now look to the "right" side of the opening page in the catalog. You can see there written in print the Arbonne difference.

Go Over These Quickly: Read From The Catalogue on page 3.

So what are we waiting for, let's get you started in testing out for yourself these awesome Arbonne products, "right" away!

Thanks Teresa,

I had a class at my house yesterday to launch 2 new consultants, they were disapointed that only one of their friends showed up with her Mom. The Mom spent $150, we decided that itwas ok, next time would be betterand that they at least got to see how a presentation was done. An hour later a friend of mine arrived and spent $350, I was so excited that I had talked to her for only 10 minutes and she purchased an Re9 set along with some other products. Today I followed up with my vetinarians wife who I had left a sample with last week, she loved the Re9 samples and ordered the whole set. This only confirms what we already know, neverever give up.

I agree, it seems opportunities pop up when you least expect them. Sometime we are looking so hard for them we overlook those that are begging to be seen. I have been guilty of this on various occasions, fortunately I have learnedtolook at each one, kick myself, then chuckle & see what I can learn from it. Goes along with that whole work smarter not harder idea, I think.

You're quite welcome! It was passed on to me by another kind consultant, Jennifer (Sooner Girl) I believe. One of the things that attracted me to this business is the willingness to help one another grow.

Kiara, I've listened to a few tapes and they all same the same thing:

When you are setting up, ask the Host if there is a spot you could use as your office to take orders privately.

At the end of the party do a group close, then ask if anyone needs o leave right away. If so, take her first. If not, take the most excited person there "your office". Ask her if she had a good time. Did she enjoy the products. If money were no object, what would you take home with you tonight. blah blah blah. Then when she's done, ask her to send in Mary. Then when Mary is done, ask her to send in Terry, etc.

Hope this helps!

Sorry, the Swiss police is back smileys/smiley36.gifit just annoys me to read facts that aren't true!

I had always seen it spelled Arbon, Switzerland. But I guess I assumed it meant the same thing???

Sabine

I am not sure in which language they get the meaning from, in French "bonne" is the female version of "bon", which means good but earth is "terre". It doesn't work in German and Italian either so maybe Norwegian since that's where Petter is? No clue, just a wild guess! smileys/smiley4.gif

Hi Brittany,

I like that left right game much better. No need to ruin our appetites at a party!

I was wanting to rewrite it, but now I don't have to!

Thanks,

Sarah

I don't say the thing about garlic between the toes anymore because once I had someone's husband take the challenge during a presentationsmileys/smiley18.gif. NOTHING! It was embarrasingsmileys/smiley9.gif, it was my second class, taught me to never say anything just to say it, research first to make sure what you are saying is real and true.smileys/smiley2.gif

That's funny. I always wanted to try the garlic thing! Guess it is a good thing to try before you say it!

I guess we will run into those embarrasing moments here and there. It
helps us not to take things too personally and to be able to laugh at
ourselves a little bit.

Thanks,

Sarah
