Ok Mia Bella group I haven't had to post because I always find the answer reading previous posts. I need fundraiser info. I am doing a fundraiser with my church youth group(1st one) and need to know about taxes. I have a tax ID # so I am not charged on the candles but do I need some form from the church? It is my understanding that they are tax exempt. Please Help!

I *THINK* you will need to provide their tax exempt form.....maybe someone else could better answer this one though.

I believe Amanda is correct. If the organization has a tax exempt form you would need to keep a copy on record. That way, when it comes time to file taxes you won't have to pay (I think).
