HELP! I love both companies. Has anyone else been torn between the two? I don't know which to choose.

Hi Kathy~
I can't tell you which to choose. You need to make a list of the pros and cons from each company. Right now people are saying they do not like the start up fee NAAW has, but really, you get a ton of things with it and you can make your money back with your first party. YOu get a polo shirt and marketing materials, animals, outfits and much more.
Noah's Ark has been around long enough to have ironed out any bugs new companys usually endure.
I have been a crew member for 1 year now, and honestly can say I never had any problems w/ orders, products or the company itself. I have been very happy with everything. People are amazed w/ our animals, they are really big and very well made. No velcro and zipper combination w/ our animals. I'd even be willing to send you an animal for comparison if SAF would do so too.
Best of luck with your decision! I'd love to see you join us! It's a boatload of fun and memories!

I personally have been researching SAF and for me, it's the best fit for what I want to do. I would be adding the products to my already existing party and gift business so the no fee start up works for me as I won't be promoting through home parties, fairs, etc and don'thave a need fortraining materialsand it won't be necessary for me to havea wide variety ofproducts on hand.
Noah's Ark has a very impressive starter kit(s) and I believe has more of a variety. I can imagine it's a tough decision.
Best Wishes on whatever you decide!

That's a tough choice!
Take a survey of your close friends, neighbors, relatives, etc.......whoever you would probably invite to your starter party. What do they think about the products? What excites them more? Which one would they feel more motivated to book a party with? Maybe these answers (and come up some more questions) will help you out.

Hi Kathy,
I see you're still battling with this decision. We honestly can't tell you which company is best for you. Just as Mary had said, you need to make a list of both pros and cons for both companies. Look down the lists and figure out which ones work for you. I think you've been given plenty of details for both companies.
Honestly the ultimate decision needs to come from you and what works best for you not which consultant was more "convincing" lol. You need to take a long hard look at the facts and decide which is best.
Hope that helps!
Take care,
Anita http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

It's ok to be asking questions, there are so many! I remember being the same way, and I still ask questions. There are a TON of things to learn from each company, any direct sales company for that matter!
It's best not to rush into doing something without all the research and even getting samples of the different companys products, marketing tools, etc. That can usually be the deciding factor!
I don't mind the questions, so keep asking! Have your list and ad to it or cross things out, this is the way you will know that you have made the right decision!

First I have to apologies that I am late answering this post. I don't spend much time in this folder. But maybe Ill start. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif
It is hard to choose and both company's are great. I would like to add that SAF is adding new animals and accessories every 30-60 days. I have seen there kit as well and absolutely think it is great! But would also add that you can buy many if not all (it has been a while since I looked) of those supply's through SAF as well and at your ownpace.
I think the best thing to do would be to take some notes, look at the different "friends" from both company's. Talk to a rep from each company and get all the information. Then follow your heart or just ask your kids. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif I am sure you will find the one that is right for you.
If you need any more info I am sure Anita would be happy to answer everything for you.
Best of luck in your new business!

Kathy,
When I was researching Adult Novelty companies I did just that. I had a notebook and and listed everything! I took notes when I talked to Reps etc. How you and the sponsoring Rep "click" together is something to look at too! Take your time to make the wisest choice. I know it is tough to wait because of the excitement. But I made my choice that best fit me! Good Luck

I personally would definitely want to see an example of a friend from each company. Looks like Mothermomtotwo offered to send you an animal from Noah's ark. Maybe the other company would be willing to do that too. To me, that is what the difference would be.
Because lets face it--the concept is really cute, and both businesses will probably continue to prosper. What you need to look at is which company can withstand the competition in your area. If neither company is represented in your area, you don't want to introduce one company and then have someone else come along with a superior product and take away your customers. Also, I think the closest Build a Bear would be a consideration for me.
That is just my two cents worth! Add a dollar to that and you can buy a cup of coffee! Good luck on your decision. Let usknow what you choose.

Thanks Kimberly. I did do just what everyone here suggested. I did compare the two products. I am now a crew member with Noah's Ark. Thanks
