Hi! I signed up with Arbonne as a wholesaler almost a year ago. I love the products. My renewal is up next month. I am really considering starting to sell it. Can you renew under a different sponsor? My current sponsor is not doing anything with it, but is a close friend. I have another sponsor in mind possibly, but don't want to hurt my friend's feelings. I just feel that I will need some training, etc.
I am not really interested in having parties though. Can you still make some money without them? Is getting a website benefical?
Thanks so much in advance!

You must wait six (6) months after your account has been de-activated/expired/canceled before you can sign up under another sponsor.
This business is about helping others get what they want.
I would suggest contacting the person your friend, and/or continue upline (Area Mgr.; Region VP, Nat'l VP) and share with them you're interested in building a business. They will be more than happy to assist you, and help you plug into all the training and a system that will work for you.
We do have the REsults Approach that is tremendously successful and doesn't require parties.
Websites can be a very beneficial aid for your business to help streamline info. for your clients/prospects 24/7. There's the added benefit of Arbonnedirecting referrals to youfor new clients/prospects in your area.
Hope this helps!

I thought I had just read a recentemail, note on Arbonne.com, or something where they changed it back to 12 and that it would be relfected in future publications. Either way, how does it affect the team you had begun before you decided to go inactive? Just curious...

If you sponsor someone who doesn't place orders/sell/sponsor, it ultimately doesn't matter if they become inactive...they have been all along!
However, if you sponsored someone and they go inactive/cancel and they sponsored other people.....They would have to start from scratch and lose all the people they sponsored! It would roll up to you!

I have the same situation. The wholesale buyer signed up a year ago and now wants to do the buisness under her sister. Because she has had no orders under her own ID I was told she can sign up under someone else in the 13th month after the last order. Hope that helps.

this was sent to me Sept 14 from my NVP:
Please note that the 2004 Independent Consultant Compensation Summary (ICCS)has been updated. We have added a column that shows the average number of months it takes to promote to the various ranks in Arbonne. A copy of the updated 2004 ICCS is attached.
Please discard the old version and start using this new one. The link online remains http://www.arbonne.com/company/iccs.html (http://www.arbonne.com/company/iccs.html). A nice printable PDF version can be found on the same web page. You will notice that the presentations featuring the ICCSon www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com) have been updated as well.
If you have amarketing or training tool that was using the old ICCS, please discard it and updateit by using the new version. Remember that any Field produced tool should be sent to Arbonne's Compliance department for review and approvalpriorto use.
Thanks for all your help and supportwith teaching your SuccessLines to do "the right thing"!

Dear National and Regional Vice Presidents,
Wewould liketobring your attention to a misprint in policy section 10.2, "Cancellation for Inactivity", on page 33in our current 2005 SuccessPlan and Policies & Procedures Manual.
The current policy incorrectly states thata Consultantthathasnot sponsored or placed orders for six (6)monthswill be inactivated. This is incorrect. Consultantsthat have not renewed and have not sponsored or placed orders during a twelve (12) monthperiod will be inactivated.Inactivated Consultants must submit a new StartNOW Consultant Application and Agreement to once again become an Arbonne Independent Consultant.
The Cancellation for Inactivity<?:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /><O:P></O:P> policy will now read:
"If an Independent Consultant has not renewed and has been inactive (noorders and no personally sponsored Consultants) during atwelve month (12) period, they will be cancelled as an Arbonne Independent Consultant the first business day of thethirteenth (13th) month. At this time, all rights are relinquished and any SuccessLine is assigned to the next registered upline Independent Consultant. After cancellation has occurred in thethirteenth (13th) month, they will be eligible to submit a new StartNOW Consultant Application and Agreement, under the sponsor of their choice, and a new Consultant ID number will be issued."
This correction to our policies will be reflected online at http://www.arbonne.com/company/policies.html (http://www.arbonne.com/company/policies.html)effective immediately. We will also notify all Consultants in the October issue oftheUpClose. The 2005 SuccessPlan and Policies & Procedures Manualwill be updatedwith our next reprint.

That's the one I saw. I read so much & listen to so many modules, Learn& Burns, etc. I thought perhaps I had imagined it. Thanks, Cassandra!

Yes, but I think that is a different policy than the SwissSkin is talking about.
The one Cassandra posted is for those who just let their ID expire & don't renew. The one SwissSkin posted is for people who actually resign formally in writing to Arbonne. They didn't actually used to have that policy then somewhere in the last two years they wrote it b/c I remember getting the e-mail about it. I'll see if I can find the e-mail & post it. (yes, I keep everything, lol) Arbonne doesn'tintend for people to switch successlines whillynilly but they do acknowledge that sometimes there is a valid reason for it. Which is why they came up with the 6 month resignation thing. Or I could be imagining the whole thing, lol.

OK, finally found it.I was about to think that I had lost it & just imagined it, lol. Here is what we had in email form from my NVP back in June.
From: Arbonne VP Support <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Wewould liketoclarify the 6 month cancellation/resignation policy. The main difference between this new policy and our existing one is that in order to cancel/resign under the six month policy, a written cancellation/resignation must first be received by the Home Office.Only upon receipt of this cancellation/resignation does the clock start ticking for the six months.
Therefore, we have the following ways for an individual to "sit-out" and later rejoin:
<UL =disc>
<LI =Msonormal style="COLOR: black; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">With 12 months of non-activity in our system (no sales and sponsoring) someone can rejoin under new sponsor, and

They haven't updated Policies & Procedures on the website, but I do recall seeing this now.
I guess I haven't even been faced with the situation, so I haven't committed it to memory yet.
