Hi, everyone! I am a DIQ with BeautiControl, and will be moving to OH in a month or so. I had planned to take all my inventory with me, but just found out the movers will not ship liquids! Help! I need to liquidate my inventory! I have been having sales for my customers, but still need to get rid of more stuff. I plan to sell as much as I can here, and then purchase more once we get to OH. I can sell it at 30% off (or more) plus shipping to my fellow consultants. Please pm me if you're interested! Marie, marie_olson@earthlink.net (marie_olson@earthlink.net) Edited by: mlbo

Just my thoughts here but if you are a DIQ, shouldn't you have an abundance of Spas on the books to reduce some of your inventory? Do you not have a team that can help you out with this? I'm fairly new to this site but it's my understanding that we are NOT supposed to be trying to sell our inventory in this forum.

Sorry if I've offended anyone but...really!!

Actually, I DO have an abundance of Spas on the books. I am going to have to start giving them to some of my Consultants as my moving date approaches. Like I said above, I have been offering lots of client incentives as well as team incentives where they get to come and browse my inventory closet. However, since I am moving in a little over a month and a half, I am trying to do everything I can to reduce my inventory. Just thought I would offer this to people who may not have had the opportunity to try some of the great product lines that have since been discontinued.

I wish I could help you out Marie! I have a bit of the same issue! haha! I went crazy my first 2 months and bought WAY too much product! What I'm going to do, is have an open house where it's an Inventory reduction. All products that I have in stock are going to be 20% off. Anything I have to order will be full price + Shipping.

I don't know how it's going to go, but It's a thought! I hope it helps!!!

Thanks! I have actually tried that before, too. I am planning to havea Christmas in July sale and see if that helps. But I thought I would give first pick to some of my sister Consultants! :D

Forgot to mention that anything I have in stock will ship the same day or next day, depending on when I get the email.

Here's a suggestion...if you can ship it to us...why don't you just ship it to your new address? Just because the movers won't move liquids doesn't mean the post office won't...just a suggestion

So we just found out the movers will be here on 7/23. I am planning to have a Christmas in July Sale for all my clients, but thought if you were interested in getting anything, you could let me know now! Thanks!

Am I the only one who thinks it is suspicious that a DIQ is only selling at 30% off when they get 50% off of every order they place?

Sorry-- but I don't like to see people get taken advantage of.

I'm sure that that 20% is probably covering the cost of shipping and tax. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to lose money on an investment. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

I am not anticipating thatmy fellow consultants are going to be placing $800 orders from me...30% off is actually more of a discount than you get until you get to VIP...so I thought that was more than fair. I have to make some money, too! We are preparing for a move, after all! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif

I just thoughtthis might be a good way to get one or two things without having to pay $14 shipping at the 25% discount rate...but I guess not everyone sees it that way! Sorry!

Thanks, Bodhi! I was beginning to think people thought I was trying to stiff my fellow BeautiControl sisters! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif

Yes, that would be great if we had a forwarding address, but chances are we won't get that until we move there. We will be living in temporary lodging until we find a place...hence the liquidation here before we move.

I'm here for you Marie! You've been so positive and helpful in the past, that I know you weren't trying to stiff anyone. I think your discount is appropriate all considering! The other girls just don't know how great you are! Keep up the good work! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley10.gif

Ok, so when I orginally posted this, I was anticipating that we would be moving in August...but we just found out it will be in July! Ahhh! I am so not prepared for this...any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Marie

I am sure that you weren't trying to "stiff" anyone! However, there is a rule that you cannot sell any of our products to another consultant for more than what you paid for them. So if you bought it at 50%, you have to sell it to them for 50%. Then you can add your shipping and tax to it.

That's why I said it would be 30% discount or more above. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
