I just received an email yesterday saying that I was accepted to Shopnchek!! The only thing I don't like is that I have to scan my documents and I've never used a home scanner before. Hopefully I don't screw this up!!

I am presuming you own a scanner? Is that the only way they will accept info is by scanning and e-mail. I would want to fax my reports, as I do not have a scanner. I am new to mystery shopping and was considering signing on with ShopNcheck. Have you gotten any assignmets yet?</font></font>

No, I don't own one yet. I'm going to buy one sometime this week before I accept any assignments. You have to have a scanner to send the report and receipt. It would be easier for me to scan and email then to fax bc I don't have access to a fax machine at my home. When I got the email and looked at the website I had about 6 assignments that I could have accepted but like I said, I want to make sure I have everything before I start. This is my 1st mystery shop company I've signed up with and they got back to me fast too!

I have actually used my fax machine more than my scanner throughout my mystery shopping assignments. Mine is hooked up as a regular phone. When I want to fax out, I can, and I can also accept faxes on my regular phone line, I just have to know that they are coming so that I can push the start button when I answer the phone. I do have a scanner though as well. Believe it or not, I got my fax machine for under $120. Best money I ever spent.

I have been with Shop N Chek for years. I do not use a scanner or fax, I just send in my receipts through the mail to the address that they provide. The report is an online report, so you just fill out the report and hit the submit button. You do not have to send the report in the mail, just the receipts and the CPI form, if you cannot fax or scan them. Good luck!

I've sent my receipts in through the mail and if I need to scan something, I go to the public library and do it for free. I've even had the library people scan it for me and email it to my home email address.

To</font>: TheArmyWife, check the office supply stores (Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Circuit City) etc. You can purchase an All In One- printer scanner, fax, copier on sale from $100 up. I also checked the HP website for valuable info on their AIO machines.

Thank you! I think I will just find a cheap scanner lol. I'm not doing mystery shopping as a source of income, it's really to keep me busy and make a little extra money. And it's great too because alot of places are fast food lol and I eat out alot! I didn't know you could mail in your receipts but I know now! Thanks everyone.

Walmart has a Lexmark printer/scanner copier for $32. I have it.. got it on Black Friday and it's really nice for mystery shopping scanning
