Hi all,

I am a new member considering Mystery Shopping. There were 4 shops that i saw that required a registration fee to sign up? I have been reading many posts here that advise never pay to shop. Is this registration fee something that most shops require. I am confused.

Thanks in advance for your helphttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

Be careful. I’ve got a posting on here about a company that robbed me blind called ShopperSevices .com. They did not do a thing for me, and they were taking money from me right and left. Since then, I have gotten shops from other companies that didn’t cost a thing! There is a fee if you want to get certified, but I haven’t found that necessary yet.

No fee is required to shop period. Never pay to shop. If they ask for your money, they are not worth the time. Please go to Volition and look at their company list. They have at least 100 companies you can sign up with that won't cost you a dime. Same goes for MSFreedom. They have a nice company list as well. Never pay to shop!

Thanks. The 4 shops were recommended in an article regarding Mystery shopping scams exposed. The author of this article claims to be a watch dog for work at home scams states that their staff has personally and stringently reviewed these 4 shops who offer a 60 day, 100% money back guarantee. Just wondered if these shops provide more exclusive clients?</font></font></font>

This article was written by either the companies who wanted you to pay them or someone who would get a commision from you signing up with the companies. I saw and responded to the same sort of thing with a survey company. I'm so glad ClickBank give you refunds!
