I have recently begun to post on the boards. I will say up front that I have been a previous consultant for other cosmetic lines, both as a seller and as a personal use only.

I have stated elsewhere that I think several companies have good products. But for my money--and it will be my money--Beauticontrol has the best "overall" line.

Their basic skincare is good--and it covers young, old, sensitive and acne. Their color line is good, though the skincare is better. I love wet-dry. Their hand creams are great, especially alpha hydroxy. I am not into spa, but that seems to be pretty good too.

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know you get my vote. Because I have used so many lines I don't use enough of one to be a personal use consultant, but I do use majority of BC.

Every skin care company says "we have the best products." Well I am here to tell you--Beauticontrol does!!!

Also want to say I was a BC personal use consultant for many years. When the exec director came over to my place, and I saw how much I could get for $150, I signed up on the spot. That was back in the days you got all of your kit all at once.
I do wish BC was change their method of signup, making you go to training to get the rest of your kit. I know that many, many women may go, but I guarantee you a lot don't. I also wish they had more samples.

I believe they are working on getting more and more samples to us. So far, I think this month they have more samples than ever. And in October they will be having the skincare samples available all the time. You know the first kit is available in sample size as well as the Show of Hands and not to mention the lipsticks, perfumes, and new products...I think they are slowly but surely improving........I do wish that you did not have to place a $300 retail order to get the new mini's-that would be my only complaint.......with the samples. But I guess it is all marketing when it comes to that so that we will keep doing our spa's.

I too once upon a time was a consultant for another cosmetic co.
I remember when I hosted my first spa, I was so excited! And I never once felt that same excitement with the previous company! The great part is the skin care. After using the same skin care since about the age of 18, my skin was as dry as the desert. When I used BC's skin care, my skin was in absolute heaven http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif. After my spa, I could not wait to sign-up.
I've watched my recruiter (a very dear friend) and her sister work this wonderful business. One has become a director, and the other is in her DIQ. How awesome!!! This can be done, and I pray everyday to do it myself. I cannot wait to quit my FT job. It is a little more difficult to work in with my FT work schedule, but a short term sacrifice of time will be oh so well worth it.
I look forward to getting to know many of you on this board.

My skin looks better now than it did 5 years ago and I'm in my 40's, when the age creeps up fast. Sometimes I look at my face and am AMAZED by what I see. I always thought I "just didn't have good skin".
