Hi everyone!
I'm Lisa and brand new to rbon, haven't even gotten my kit yet, but should be here tomorrow. I am really excited and looking forward to getting started.
I do have one small concern maybe one of you can suggest something. I signed up by going to the arbon site, then to sign up I had to do a search for a local rep, then sign up under her. Well I have contacted her twice, once to let her know who I am and that I was looking forward to working with her, then I contacted her with a couple questions. She never contacted me back either time. I realize it's summer and she could be on vacation or something, but it has me a little worried. Any suggestions?
I hope to jump in here and be an active poster and look forward to getting to know you all!

Wow! I wish I was the local rep that they assigned you to!!!
I would try to email her again, if the email is going to her @rbonn.com email address, she may not check it as often. (I know I didn't, until I figured out how to forward it to my everyday email). Also definitely give her a call. I bet you'll get her that way. All the best to you!And welcome to our board!!!! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

Welcome Lisa, that is too bad she has not called you yet but there is probably a reason. I have been coming to this board for two years and have acutally had questions answered here faster than w/my upline! Nothing against my upline at all but these are a great group of ladies w/alot of great info.
There is a call that shows you how to give your hostess $350.00 in free products (they pay tax and $29.00 fee) and this really helps when you are asking your friends and family to have a party for you. Here is the number
641-985-5000 BOX 857257#. Good luck and you will start to get so excited about A****** once you start listening to the learn and burns and taking the A****** Univ classes.

It may be that she is travelling or something. When you get your welcome kit in the mail, there will be a letter that explains who your District and Area Managers, and Regional and National Vice Presidents are. Please contact your DM or AM right away - they will be tickled pink to know they have a new team member who is excited to get started.
Best of luck!

Thanks so much for the welcome and the tips on getting started. I got my kit yesterday and have completed the university already. How fun and exciting!
I'm a bit overwhelmed at where I want to start. Get the website, invest in samples and literature, I want it ALL! lol To bad the budget doesn't allow it all at once.

I didn't get any letter, just a kit. Did you get the letter that 789 is talking about with your kit, or did it come seperately at a later date?

I got it when I joined last year....perhaps they don't send it anymore because that info is in webstats.
Another place to find it is to log into the internet consultants area of the website, then click webstats - it should be down on the left side

Actually I did go to webstats (I am still learning my way around) and it only shows my sponsor. Perhaps they are not putting that info on anymore because people come in and out of leadership. Because I did not see it anywhere, I called corporate last week and found out for myself who my upline was.
But thanks for the help. Maybe I will get a letter in the mail with this info. I know they get those kits out quick.

Question...Does it make a difference if a perons signs at the end of the month vs beginning of the month? Did they change the $350 so that you can do it anytime?

PrincessGG & jh789 ~ So far I have not gotten a letter with any of that information either, but I just got my kit Friday so it might still come.
Champion ~ According to my online order page it says I can purchase the RSVP during the month that I join or during the following calander month. That's a great deal, I am hoping to take advantage of! Good thing my hubby's a truck driver, as soon as he leaves Tuesday morning all that stuff he has packed away that he "might" need someday, just might make it's way to e-bay. lol

Hi Lisa,
I did the very same thing. I searched for someone in my area and signed up blindly. I had immediate response UNTIL I placed my $2500 order - since then its been all downhill. I am in the process of trying to switch sponsors because I am so unhappy.

Lorraine -
just wondering if you were "required" to place a $2500 order? If so, I am so sorry that happened to you. You should definitely speak with compliance about this. $29 is all that is required.
Good luck finding a new sponsor!

I wouldn't say required, but I went into it with the idea I would be a BB and the suggested opening order was 2500K - best bang for my buck is what I was told.................I have a call into a supervisor, waiting for a call back. THANK YOU

Wow Lorraine, Sorry to hear about the huge order and misunderstanding that went along with it. I hope you can get something worked out.
I have still not heard a word from my upline. I have called, let a message once and called another time and spoke to someone and left a message, but still no cantact from her what so ever.
I can figure this all out with the help of the consultants here or somewhere, but I don't like that I signed under someone that will make money from my success, and she has no interest in even saying hello.
Let us know what happens on your end, I hope it all works out for the best.

Hi Lisa, I feel exactly the way you do - I can make it on my own, but do not feel compelled to have my sponsor benefit from my success if they haven't involved themselves. Good Luck

When you go into webstats, on the right hand side of the page there is a link that says click here to access the existing webstats. Click that & then under Sales & Group Volume click on Current Period. Click on your last name & a pop up window will open. Your sponsor's name & ID will appear at the bottom of the column, click on her ID number & you can continue to go upline that way to find out who your upline is as well as their contact info. Hope that helps! Edited by: Kiana's Mom

One of the most important things we can do as consultants, is to follow-up. I contacted 2 consultants before I even joined, to try the product. One never called back. When I reached the second consultant, I tried the product, loved it, and signed as a wholesale buyer. I contacted her 6 months later to look at the business side, but she had quit, and so had some of the upline.
It was then that I decided if I was going to build a business, I was going to find the right person for me. Now I'm not suggesting we all lay low for a year and sign under someone else. If you're upline is working with you, great. If not, go all the way to your NVP and tell them what you want to do, and ask them for training and guidance.
Just know, your NVP will play ball, but you need to play too.
Anyway, I did some research and found an NVP who had the same values I did, and who did what I want to do. It makes a big difference.
But before switching, contact your NVP. He/she will help you in anyway they can. Trust me.
