I would like to know, honestly, when the best time to start DIQ would be in terms of how many consultants you have on your team? I know you can start with 8 but that's not really realistic, is it? I have 26 right now and am still not meeting the sales requirements that I would need if I were in the DIQ process. I am thinking 40 or 50? I'd be interested to learn how many consultants Evelyn Coleman or someone like her had when she started her DIQ process.
Any advice or suggestions from those that have some experience behind them?
Thanks so much,
Julie

My director started her DIQ with 12, and she made it the first time. She said she had some stressful months though.I know another girl in our unit that did it with the 8 first time. I think the key is having strong sellers. If you have 8-12 dedicated consultants under you, it should work. I'm not sure though, because I'm not quite there yet! haha

Its not the amount of consultants that you have, it is how many dedicated workers that counts.
Doesn't matter if you have 8 or48 if you don't have workers you will stuggle and probably not make it.
I had 36 when I started and I had some months where I struggled just because my workers were not that strong.

I don't mean to highjack the thread because I don't have anything to add about DIQ, just wanted to let you know that I SAW YOUR PIC ON BEAUTINET, Mindy! SO exciting to put a name with a face! Congratulations, again, on a job well done! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

I can add to the # thing. I have 31 on my team but it is not a strong team. You need at least 2-3 who are really working the buisness and who are dedicated just as much as you are. With you working and the 2-3 you should breeze through the DIQ-
I would wait till your numbers are nice and strong for several months before signing up for DIQ-BUT if you are going to Celebration I would sign up for August so that you can go to the DIQ/Director Workshops!!!

I signed my DIQ with 9 in march... I thought I was being oh so clever beginning DIQ during a promotion... well, it turned out to be wonderful recruits wise - I am at 30 now - BUT, sales are low in recruiting months bc everyone goes for the package! But, like the others have shared - if you have people working with you and you can RECRUIT QUALIFIED - you are fine.... that really is the defining factor - recruiting qualified makes you less worried about what all your people are doing and more focused on what you can control.....

It's all about quality, not quantity. I have heard that you can get through DIQ with at least 3 full time Consultants working the business consistently. Besides, it doesn't hurt to try! You don't get penalized for starting over.

You need only 2-3 working consultants under you who are doing 6-8 spas a month. If you are doing what you are suppose to be doing and then if you add what they are doing-then you should do farely well with DIQ.
