View Full Version : Shipping and Handling?

How much is shipping and handling on your COTM? I might have enough of an available balance on my card to start today, but I'm not 100% sure. If someone could let me know I'd appreciate it!

Another question - when they send you the COTM on the 5th - when do they charge your card??

I have received four COTM shipments. They were all billed on the first day of each month. The first two including s&h were $49.35 each. The last two were $46.95 each. So I guess the shipping rates vary and depends where you live.

Ugh - I will have to wait until my most recent payment posts to my cc acct then. (It can take up to a week, and I sent it yesterday.) If it charges on the first though, maybe I should wait until the month rolls over since it's so close. What is next months COTM scent??

Joining after the 20th of the month puts your COTM shipment out on the 15th I think and billed on the 10th...
Everyone gets Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper for the first COTM. You wouldn't get yours until late next month if you join before the first of next month. But then you can call into the office and have your COTM date changed to come out and be billed at the first of the month...

Oh - that's a LOT better. I would have to do a quick western union payment in order to do it on the 1st. (Now that I think of that, I should've done that in the first place... blah!)

Acutally, I signed up on the last week of March(like the 28th or something) and I got the SOCP to start and then on the 10 of April I got the April COTM(Ginger/Cedarwood). I am just letting you know because I did not know that and went a little overlimit because I wasn't expecting another COTM charge. NO biggie for me but just as a heads up to others.

If your sign-up for Candle of the Month Club occurred before the 20th of the current month, you will beput on the 1st of the month autoship. If your sign-up occurred after the 20th of the current monthyou will be put on the 10th of the month autoship.
They do that to help space out the first and second shipment. Otherwise, to use Darlene as an example, she would have gotten her first shipment sent on the day of her sign up, March 28th, and her second shipment on April 1st....
As Charlie shared, you can change your autoship date by calling corporate.

Exactly, so the way it happened with me was I got the SOCP on the 1st and the regular COTM on the 10th so I got two shipments in one month. Just something for her to be aware of in case she is short on funds. Oh, and I am in CA and my total with shipping is usually $46.95. I believe shipping is $7 regardless of where you are and then your taxes. I do not get charged taxes since I have a re-sale license.

Wow, Darlene- You are slightly north of me if I'm correct... and my charge was $49.45. I guess it's worth getting that resale license then!! So let me ask this: where did you go to get your re-sale license and how much did it cost?

I went to Suisun to the Board of Equalization. This way I only pay tax on what I sell, not what I buy and since I use some things for write-off I am not getting dinged for it.
