Hi,
I have read some posts in the past about having aMystery Hostess Party where one of your guests receives the $100 in free product, or $100 for $20 depending what you choose.
I have a couple of questions regarding this. How do you determine who the winner is? When giving "points" do yo share ahead of time the critera such as rsvp'ing on time, arriving on time, asking a question, booking a party, etc or do you just kind of make it up and share as you go?
Also, does anyone have any sample invitations? How do you word it so people understand they may get $100 in free product so it motivates them to come?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Beth

Hi Beth,
This worked really well for me for my first party! I think the prize motivated people to come, especially if as I was talking with them and the busy excuse came up, I could tell them to stop by for a bit to try to win the prize! I kept it simple and just did a drawing from who was there, no points. I made sure during the drawing that I was listing out those hostess benefits, being sure to call it "hostess benefits" and not just a "prize."After choosing the winner I reminded them that ANYONE can be the winner by hosting a party! If you PM me with your email address I can send you my invite.
