So, I just wanted to see how all the other DIQs were doing out there....I wanted to wish everyone good luck and keep up the good work. I am in month 2, but I have to say things are looking a bit grim. My sales are 2600 and I just can't seem to get my team motivated to actually book and hold spas, although they want to work the business. Just wanted to check in with everyone else.

Not going good here either. I am only at about $1200-my team has not booked much this month or recruited. In fact, no one in our whole unit has recruited. I will probably start over again for the month of June-just gotta keep trucken.......I have two spa's booked in June already and I have 4 contacts for spa's to boot-one of these months will open up for my team-just have to be patient I guess!

hi you guys.... My director has always encouraged me with this - most of BC's business comes in at the end of the month... so don't start sweating yet.....

I am in Month 3..... looks like I will make it and go to month 4
I've made my team numbers and just have to place the rest of my $1100 minimum... Thankfully, I've had a lot of great women join my team during the promotion...

I am so HURTING for spas though!I am going away the last 2 weeks of June so I need to hustle the first two weeks..... But now the minimum sales jumps to $8K so who knows?!?!? I will say that the seriousness of DIQ takes away a bit of the fun......

Great ideas for bookings through daycare centers though - I love it!

I resigned againin May and my numbers are half way there. I have recruited one, but have not ordered my minimum. We're leaving on Friday to go on a week vacation and I won't be doing any spas/business during that week. It will be June when I get back. I had several attend BeautiU yesterday, so we'll see what that brings.

Ladies, don't forget that you can take this business anywhere you go! If you choose not to, that is totally cool and absolutely your prerogative to relax..that's part of the beauty of this business. But if you want to continue working, don't forget you can do it! I remember a while back there were some ladies on this board that actually called ahead to their hotels/time shares and arranged to do a spa or two at the cabana area. Just a thought! I'm currently in month 5 of DIQ and while things are not looking so hot for my numbers from my team, I know that they always wait until the end of the month to place the bulk of their orders for some odd reason. I have learned that the key to moving ahead each month is to keep recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. If you have 2+ people attending BeautiU each month then you really increase your chances of them placing orders there. Have you offered your girls some incentive to place a $500+ retail order? I will usually do a "last minute challenge" for 4 days near the end of the month and will offer either manicures, pedicures, movie tickets, set of products, etc. if they place an order for $500+ during those 4 days (regardless of whether they've already placed an order this month). Good luck and hang in there! You never know what will happen so don't ever count yourself out.

I am in month 3 and I agree with Karen, for some strange reason, alot of consultants wait until the last minute to place their orders. I wonder why that is?


Karen, I like your idea of offering an incentive or challengeat the end of the month! Do you send a general e-mail or do you call everyone personally?

So, how is everyone doing in terms of recruiting? Myself and one other consultant seem to be the only two doing anything with that. I find it difficult beefing up my numbers alone...oh well, no one said it was going to be easy, right?

I send a general email to all of my consultants (currently have 49) as there just isn't enough time in the day to reach that many girls.

My girls are finally recruiting and moving up in Leadership which is awesome. I did have to do some "challenges" to get them to want to recruit. I offered them a manicure gift certificate to the first 3 people to recruit and if they qualified them as well, they not only got the BCs gifts but would get a spa pedicure gift certificate from me as well. Seems likea lot of money but it really isn't in the long run.

Hi ladies. I haven't been around much lately, I have been SO busy trying to stay connected with everyone that I find myself coming and going but it's paying off! As you most know that this is my 3rd go at DIQ, the first time we got to month 5 and my girls just all quit on me. So this time around I had to recruit a whole new team. This time I decided to focus my effort and energy on building a team instead of just getting #'s. I took Leadership to heart and have been really focusing on connecting with everyone. It's been some work but things are just blossoming. Right now our #'s are sitting at $9200!!! I have 2 recruits this month. We have all been busting our humps to get loads of bookings to propel us into the next promotion. It seems to be paying off. I'm just praying that this will continue into months 3 - 6!!!

Way to go Krista! How exciting. Isn't it amazing how Leadership can change the whole vision? Sounds like your new team is really behind you and that's what counts! Are you going to Celebration? Walking across the stage?

Leadership definitely changed things for me. I took a whole new look at my journey. My new team is SO BEHIND me, they all want US to be a unit. That is so different from before. Before it was just every man for themselves so to speak, no one really wanted to work WITH me. So after taking time to connect everything is SO different.

Yes I am definitely going to Celebration and taking one of my girls (so far!) with me :D I'm so excited.

I would like to know when Kari is going to be signing her DIQ since she's recruiting and qualifying so much lately:)

Hehehehe. Karen is above me in our unit http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif. This is a good example of the friendly prods we get in our unit. I've learned alot by watching others and reading the posts on this board from those frustrated to those elated! The way I look at it is it is in the Lord's hands and his timing. Like Krista, I am focused right now on nurturing my team and "connecting" so that they hit the ground running. Unit manager is next which will hopefully be next month, then once my sales begin to stabalize, DIQ here I come.

I am at about $2600 for my second round at DIQ. I probably won't sign up again for June. I will sign up again probably before Celebration-because I want to be a DIQ there so that I can go to the meetings! Looks like they are doing a lot of different new and exciting things for DIQ's, Directors, etc.

How is everyone else doing? I decided I need some new blood on my team-so I am going to just focus on booking spa's and recruiting-the rest will follow. I figured if I am struggling now I will struggle as a Director and that is when I DO NOT want to.

I will make month 2, with just over $6000! I am worried about next month as I will need a bit over $7000. I have the people but they seem to have trouble booking and keeping their spas. I have been having meetings as well and we have talked about it - I just don't know.....I am pretty much going with the flow while trying to encourage my team....so we will see! Good Luck everyone.

I am going to fall short by 1,209.25. It's discouraging because everyone I recruited in the promotion isn't going to count, but I know it will all work out. Like Michele said, I do not want to struggle as a director.

Someone told me that if you're doing everything you're supposed to do, keep resigning because you never know when you'll have a really great month and your girls will catch the vision. So I will sart over.

I am going to wait to start over because I need to "give birth" again and get some more "workers" on my team. Some are starting to blossom and as my director told me-if you get a month or two and get $6,000 out of them withou being a DIQ then you know you are strong and is a good sign that you will have good #'s and then by the time promotion comes around again my team will explode-then I won't struggle every month. Especially, like Jen said-if I am doing everything I am suppose to do!

I just think if you are barely making your #'s then you will struggle as a director and that is when it will really hurt because the Mustang is involved! As my director says-do you just want the title of Director or do you want the Mustang...........if you want both then wait until you are STRONG!

Hi Ladies, I too have not been on for awhile, although I lurk around to see how you all are doing! I got my oraange cargo bag today it is awsoem, I was a little reluctant, but I love it! I have 4 recruits for the month, 2 qualified, but my sales are a little shakiy. My tem actually has higher sales than me this month! I had 10 Spa's but low volume. I too am resigning and am planning on doing so each month, just like Jennifer. I just know this is working, each month gets better and better!
