is tonight. I am so exited and nervous. It is my launch for my new business with a very reputable sterling silver company. Company regulations prevent me for saying the name, but if you would like information you can pm me of email me at catalog925@msn.com. I have 17 rsvp and two are bringing friends. I also have 5 outside orders. I would love to have two bookings from this.


Everyone loves the jewelry when I wear it to work. My family is non commital. My SIL said I was foolish to try direct selling. That statement just made me more ambitious about being successful. I have already booked into a For Women Only Expo in Buffalo, NY (My home town) with my sponser so I can get out of the family and friends circle.

Things went great. I was so nervous but people said that they couldn't tellsmileys/smiley5.gif. I had about 15 people attend and all but one person purchased items. The only family members that attended were my MIL and SIL. I was a little dissapointed at that since I invited 12 family members My neighbors are really supportive. I live in the best neighborhood. Everyone rally's together. We have had two health crisis's; I had a premature birth and my friends husband had colon cancer. We were fortunate and my little girl is a healthy two year old and Todd has been cancer free for one year. So we really support each other in our dreams and goals in one way or another.


The only dissappointing thing is I didn't get any bookings. I did get maybes so now I just have to turn them into ayes. All in All I feel verygood and have to hohn in on a few more things. My sponser said that I need to practice things at least six times before I become comfortable with my presentation.

Your director can probably give you some suggestions on how to turn
those maybes into bookings. :-) Even if anyone flat out says "no" they
still might know of someone else that might want to book.

That's definitely a great start!! It's great that you have such a supportive neighborhood! You'll turn those no's into yes's in no time at all. Of course you're going to be nervous your first time. I hate to say it but ... Practice Makes Perfect!
