Hi-

Quick question for anyone who has ordered the Luxuries of the Sea Comfort Gel samples.

I know that the full size product is not due out until next month. The samples are available for $2.50. My question is that there is a (10) in parenthesis - do you actually get ten of them for only $2.50? If so, that is a great deal!

Yes, they are 10 samples for $2.50. I personally ordered 10 sets because it is such a good deal and they are great for slipping into hostess packets and handing out to friends and co-workers!

I thought that was right, but seemed so inexpensive I had to question it!

I am on a walk team that has a 127 mile walk (between 12 of us) on varied terrain (mountains to coast), so thought that the gel might come in handy for us this summer, with all of the aches and pains that go along with! We have limited space to take things along, so the samples would be perfect.

I ordered some and just got them today, I gave some samples to my dad, he has a very physically demanding job. I'll let ya know how they work...

I used a sample on dh and a sample on myself last week.
First off, the smell is nice. Not a major smell. Just a nice clean scent. Not a "Ben Gay" smell at all! No menthol.

2nd, when I first had it rubbed on my back, I didn't think it was doing anything. It wasn't instantly warm. But, he kept rubbing and massaging my back (it was out and hurt BAD!).

About 5 min. after he quit rubbing my back, it kicked in and boy howdy!!! That stuff was amazing! We seriously couldn't believe the intensity and for how long it continued to work! Much better than any other muscle rub we've used! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

my dad tried the cooling gel and he said it felt really good when he put it on but it was only a temporary fix. We liked the fact that it was not greasy at all. This is just one opinion though, I suggest trying it yourselves. It might not work on him too much since he has such a physical job.

My mother used it on her arms when she was having horrible muscles pains. 20 min. after she applied it, she was able to raise her arm above her head. Lasted for the rest of the evening for her. Will update more when I can.
