Hi Everyone,
I have a question about fund raising.
I'd like to promote rbon this way. I have verbiage and found a letter. My assumption is that you should focus on justa few products. For example: Sea Salt Scrub - retails for $26.00, plus tax, plus s&h - total $28.50. What would bea suggested amount for the organization who will be conducting the fundraiser? $5. per scrub sold or more? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks so much.

Lorraine--If you read the post at the top of our page, we are not allowed to post our websites in signatures per @. It's ok to put it in your profile, however.
Sorry I can't help youout with fundraising, I haven'tdone any fundraisers yet.

Lorraine...i am in this dilemma too. I am scheduled to do a fundraiser in May with my son's preschool but don't have anything formalized. Would you mind emailing me your letter and verbage that you've got together? I think that the $5 per scrub is a good idea too! :)

Most schools want to receive a substantial portion of the sales. Also, in the spirit of @, giving to others results in you getting more in return. Most people give a percentage. Other fundraisers give up to 50% to schools (I am on the PTA committee for the FR at both of my children's schools). When I do a FR, I give the full 35% or more (utilizing the 100s for 20s) so that the school can benefit in a greater way. Plus, the volume helps with promotion levels. I also include some sort of award for the kids (cash or prizes) with the top sales, most in the class, etc. Hope this helps.
