Hey everyone! I am just encouraging everyone to get over your fear and approach strangers about Arbonne! This is my biggest fear and being in a new town, I have to use every option I can. Today I was at McDonalds w/ my two daughters and while they were playing I noticed two ladies that looked like they took care of themselves very well. I approached them with my business card and I had one sample of the basic oily/combo skin on hand. The lady I spoke w/ actually came across Arbonne on a website she was looking at and she was looking for a consultant!! She was actually interested in the oily/combo set which I had on hand! So, however many "no thanks" you may get, there is always someone who will say yes out there!

My wife and I are new to our city.

ALL our calls/prospects are cold.
We don't know anybody here. But
we are meeting a lot of neat folk.

Sometimes we just do what we
"have to do".

The best to you,

Awesome inspirational story. I approached a gym that has 900 members last week. The Manger was soooooooooooo nice and invited me in to their Christmas pampering bazaar, put the sea salt in the bathroom/sauna area and let me advertise my biz. I LOVE THESE INSPIRATIONAL STORIES - WE ALL NEED MOTIVATION

KEEP EM COMING!!

Keri, did you already know people at the gym or was it a cold call/visit? I'd
love to hear some details about how you approached the manager!

Thanks!
Allison

Well, I am pushing myself to be a little more daring!! I emailed every gym in the area and this lady kindly responded (Lady of America, it is a franchise and may be in your state). I have not met her before or been to the gym. I could not face making the initial call - but email was fine. I am hitting yoga places, hair salons and chiropractors this week also. My advice would be to email first or write and enclose a biz card - then go for it and meet with them!!

Good luck and keep the advice/inspiration coming - we all need it every day in this biz!!

What did you say in the email? I would like to try that with some people

You read my mind, I was going to ask her the same thing. What do you say in a "cold e-mail"?

It was very brief... I just asked them if they ever had "pamper me" days for their members and friends? I then went on to say that I had done one recently at Curves for women that was very successful. She said that she ahd a pamper me day in July but was planning a Christmas event in November for vendors to come in. I done the same with the local colleges for recruitment/career fairs. I had even better responses from that, one even has an entrepeneurial fair coming up. Most of these events are free and the focus is different for both of them:)) who know's - lets give it a try girls!! We also have a booth at my daughter christmas bazaar at school. They have at least 70 vendors and I want to at least expose peopl to the products.
