for fundraising but there does not seem to be alot of information as how to go about promoting your fundraiser program to different organizations. I'm sorry if I am out of place here but can anyone tell me where would I go to find out information on lets say the Speical Kids olympics, Heart Association, Breast Cancer Asscociation so that I cantry to offer them my company's fundraising program to see if they would take the bite and maybe bring in some businessfor me. Any tips would be appreciated. smileys/smiley1.gif Also, do any of you know when is the best time of the year to send out fundraising packages to schools, and other organizations? I know that there is a certain time of the year that they review the fundraisers before choosing do you know when? Thanks!!

I do know that schools already have their fall fundraisers chosen and
in full swing...I would suggest lat spring/early summer for sending
things to them.smileys/smiley2.gif

You can put together something that explains your fundraising program, especially what they can earn and how. Include a catalog or whatever forms you think they would use and therefore would need to see.

Now, it kind of depends on your area and who you're speaking with. For example, some schools have the PTA decide what to do for fundraisers so this may require you to attend a PTA meeting and present your fundraising idea. Others will ask that you simply mail a package of information. So, call the schools and different charity organizations, ask who handles it, and then find out how they would like you to submit your information.

Above all else, definitely focus on the fact that they will earn money and that it is very simple to do. These seem to be the two biggest factors they will look at. Even if they stand to earn a great amount, they might shy away if it appears too complicated for them.
