Hello Ladies,

I have never posted in this particular forum (I post on anothersmileys/smiley1.gif) but am working on a website for my cousin's business - he is an artist. I don't have a web business but worked for years for a Fortune 100 company doing their coporate Intranet site from the business/design side so I do have some skills and offered to do one for my cousin for free.

He is tight on funds so we need to find somewhere to host his website that is very affordable but provides good service. He has already purchased his site domain name through Yahoo. I used Front Page/html to design his website. Any recommendations of where to go to (since I don't know this business) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance! Marcelle

I use www.1and1.com or you can use www.doteasy.com

1and1 has a lot of free tools like blogs, SEO marketing, subdomains, vouchers for google adwords. They give you a lot more for your money. Doteasy is good also. They offer free web hosting service. Your cousin would just have to pay domain transfer fees which is under $35. Check them both out and see what you think.

I am really happy with Blue Host. I have over 6 domains hosted there for 6.95 per month (for all of my domains) (I did pay for two years of service to get that price...but I am EXTREMELY happy I did!)

Very professional and extremely easy to use.

I have midphase. I really like them. The plan I have is $95 per year, I think you can pay monthly, but it is a little more expensive to do it that way.

Global Domains International is for me ... I don't use their website builder but do use Dreamweaver ... they host my 2 sites - 1 business and 1 family related. I' also get 10 e-mails with my own domains name.

I've had no FTP issues like other services I've had and my changes are always immediate ... again, unlike previous companies where I'd have to wait 48 hours!

I've referred private prgs like dance studios and karate studios as well as just families and have received residual income ... really neat product.

Best of all with a .WS extension you can still get most first choice name you want for your site ... unlike .COM ... check it out.

I fell into the business side as people asked me for advice and found referring others was really simple-
