Okay girls....surprise for the day....I go into my email and I have a message from our Senior Director and National Trainer and she has RESIGNED from BeautiControl. Wow.
She had earned trips, the Mustang and everything. Just had a facial night on Monday for her team and guests. She was in the top 50 for recruiting as well. So that tells me that it was a sudden decision.
I doknow that she had some family issues with ill children. She had backed off a bit on the recruiting this past month when I spoke with her, so I hope that everything is okayin that respect.I went into theBeautiControl site and yep, she is gone, gone, gone out of there!
I sent her an email and wished her well in any future endeavors. I did not want to call and ask her why, as if she wanted to share why she would have. That does not mean I do not wonder! Thankfully, the next Director in the area is a really great and successful lady. Boy, she sure has a big group now!
Just wanted to share my surprise for the day.....hope you all have a good one!

Since I do not have the whole story and the BC site shows she is not a Senior Director, I am not sure if she is not just a consultant now and she just said resigned (meaning from being a Senior Director), so I probably should not put her name out there. If she just stepped away from being a Director, she may still be in the business and that would be her story to tell.

when i had only been a consultant for like 2 weeks i found out that my dir. was resigning as well...it was shocking to me because i had heard from her through e-mail and the phone and she gave me every indication that she was here to help me out...i found out later that she was quitting to join another direct sales comp...

yes, I understand. Well, there are all kinds of reasons why she may have stepped back. It could be family. Or, as another poster said, she may have joined another company (hope not, but it happens). I know BC has a very strict policy that Directors cannot join other ds companies, even just as a wholesaler. I've seen several Directors get the boot because they had joined another company.
LIsten....life goes on. It stinks that she's not a part of your unit now, but you have other upline and you'll need to lean on them. Get to know them now, so that when you need them, they'll know who you are. Keep in touch with mb's like this, so you get good info and quick answers to your questions.
