Does anyone know why there seems to be so many people selling on Ebay when it is a big no no? They say they are not consultants but give me a break, where are they getting all this new stuff?

Well there was a post about May Joy and another lady.. who contact consultants get samples and sell them.. I am not sure how these people do it but it bothers me to. Some say they were a consultant but left the company. There seems to be nothing we can do though.
I did contact the company once.. Didn't hear back on it though.

The company does monitor Ebay & try to stop what they can. If they figure out it's an active consultant they deal with them. I don't think it's an easy battle. People are sneaky, they figure out how to do it. Irritating but sometimes people just suck.

This is so annoying... But I do know of someone in our team who put the items under her husbands name. She was told by her upline to get the products off of there within 24hrs or she would be no longer an Arbonne Consultant.
There is always a few people who spoil it for others who are working hard to build there biz the right way!!!!!!

I bet if we pull together and cause enough
"stink" about this problem, we can get some
attention from somebody.
Any ideas?

Jerks don't rule the world, unless
we let them because we stand by
and do absolutely ZERO.

smileys/smiley5.gifI am an artist who used to sell on Ebay. I pretty much stopped selling last year because Ebay has just become a giant money making machine and really won't do much to pull those auctions. It's not right, but unless Arbonne steps in to put pressure on Ebay, people will find loopholes to continue their "bad" behavior. I would not concentrate my energies on negative stuff like this.
One thing though...in looking for business builders I have come across people who wanted to join my team but I stepped away for the reason above. I could tell by talking with them what their mindset was and how they were going to do the business their "own way". Even after I informed them that they could not do certain things they still insisted they could. I don't like to prequalify people but would rather pass up a few bad apples than sign them up with me.
I was told this business is not for everyone when I started and the people selling on Ebay are "those people", lol.smileys/smiley9.gif

What if it is a wholesale buyer who chooses to sell their items on ebay. I haven't been to ebay to see what you all talking about, but what can be done to people who may purchase products from consultants and resell on ebay. Ebay may be their wholesale business. I'm not understanding the problem. It probably isn't a consultant but a client instead.

A wholesale buyer is still an independent Consultant. We don't really have much say over clients...
BUT, this is a huge problem for us - they are cutting off our business!!! They are undercutting what we charge - where would you go to buy???? I can't believe you can't see what the problem is????????

This happens in every direct selling business - Creative Memories,
Stampin Up, Mary Kay, etc. Unless the corporate offices do something,
there isn't much we can do. Yes it sucks for us that are trying to run
our businesses honestly. Just keep doing what you are doing and it'll
work out for you.

So, they are selling items cheaper? I guess I can see the harm in doing so. Are there lots of people doing this? I'm going to go on ebay and see for myself what's going on. Didn't mean to make anyone upset.

Ok, I just went to Ebay and I cannot believe how cheap they are selling these items for and how much stuff they have and people are actually going there to buy products. OkI fully understand now. We do have a problem.

No, you didn't make anyone upset - it is very frustrating for us when we are trying to work the biz!!!!! I am annoyed at them - not at you. Arbonne should be firmer on getting them off of Ebay. Yea, they are selling things way cheaper than we are!!

I understand Arbonne is working on this
problem. Someone sent me a private
email explaining their "attack".
I hope you all get mad and make that
"madness" known.

smileys/smiley32.gifGood people think if they are a wholesale buyer/consultant they still can sell it on ebay.. It drives me nuts. I don't understand how they make a profit by selling so low..

I hear you all, loud and clear, but don't just think about how "cheap" those on ebay are selling the products. What about the AGE of those products? Shelf life in Arbonne isabout3 years and I have recently seen the old anti-aging line from more than 3 years ago. smileys/smiley24.gif
If anyone reads this thread and considers getting products from ebay, please understand that we have only enough preservatives to give a shelf life of around 3 years (different products vary), and when you purchase through ebay, you cannot be guaranteed a new product. It's just not safe.

That's a great way to reply to
one's getting them on EBay.
Thanks,
