Hi everyone,

I found some contacts at my husband's company to speak with about administrative personnel week. Does anyone have any ideas on wording for fliers and how I should go about contacting them? I am still fairly new at this and I haven't approached any businesses yet. I would appreciate any help.

Hi Darlene,

I just booked a couple spas at my husbands work to do the same thing. I'm using some stuff I found on the Shelly ward unit website (www.shelleywardunit.com (http://www.shelleywardunit.com)). I changed a couple things but I use the spa experience flier. They also have stuff in the forms section for spas at work.

The Spa at work CD and workbook from BC is really good too (sales aids section). I just got mine yesterday and it has a lot of good resources to use.

I just explained that it's a complimentary service to show their employees how much they appreciate them. I told them I would do a 30 min express version (lip apeel, eye pads, SOH, ER and Herbal serenity foot cream on elbow) and if the ladies were interested in the full version they could book their own spa escape with me.

Just keep it simple and go with the flow of conversation. They'll have questions about what the treatments are, products, etc. I also told them I wouldn't sell products if they weren't comfortable with that but I could hand out product guides and they can call me after hours if they're interested. I haven't gotten an answer on the selling yet but hope to when she confirms her date with me next week.

Hopefully that helps. Try the Shelley Ward website - it's a great resource.

Funny you should ask. I just contacted a person at my husband's work today. I called the secretary and ask if they would have the Chair of the dept. (he's a professor) call me when she has time about admin. asst. week and left my name and number. I also mention that I would email her with more details about what I would like to discuss. It was in the email that I went into more detail about what I would like to do. Being a former admin. asst. I emphasised the stress relieving aspects and also mention that I know she is always looking for new way to say thanks. My thinking is she might approach see this as an opptuntity to do something new and exciting instead of the same old flower or plant I use to get. I also attached aWellness brochure that I got from shellywardunit.com. (great site). I will follow up on the email tomorrow or Monday.I don't know if this helps, I really new that this too. I just signed up in March and have had a chance to spa anyone yet. I did share the products with a few friends and my mother. Everyone has been very supportive and I'm starting to come out of my shell.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

I am going to contact some offices this week. I got inspired to do it. I had a creative block recently, and was in a rut. I woke up this morning with a TON of ideas to do. So I am off and running with them.

I am excited. I feel like I felt after BeautiU. I got a huge party saturday night, and then I have two or more friends that are going to sign up. I have potential parties...I am feel like a new woman!
