Sorry for two posts in a rowhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gifbut thought someone might find this helpful and I just needed to share.
Last night I held my first couples spa and boy was it fun!!!! I had 6 couples and here is what I did:

SOH at the sink with each couple and raved how men love this product, especially those who work and/or play outdoors!

I printed the reflexology charts from BeautiNet (found under forms on file) and handed one set (hand/foot) to each couple and asked them to think about a part of the body they wanted worked on (This got a huge laugh http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif!

Then I placed our ER Lotion on the guys hand and had is partner massage his hands, then reversed and had him do the same to his parter.

Then we did the same thing to the feet. Boy, did they all get into this!!!! They were also really using the reflexology charts. Oh, and I printed them on regular paper so they could take them with them, and they all did!

Then I asked for bookings, although all of the women were just at a spa I did last month and most were already booked. But practice can't hurt right?

Then we did the lip apeel and I passed out the eyepads and told them to get comfortable. Then I did the relaxation exercise. It was so cute, each couple held hands and snuggled into each other. They really looked like they were enjoying this so I went a bit longer (15 minutes).

Then I covered our skincare (both mens & womens) but did not demo and then shared my goodie bag. WOW, what a difference to have husbands their, especially when they hear about the mustang! Of course, I had to add that when I get mine, I'm giving it to my husbandhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif.

Total sales....$380 (lots of SOH and ER lotion and they all bought the lip balm after I told them about Carmex and Chapstick). I was even able to get rid of my Cupid Sets!!!!! For $45 no lesshttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif!

What a party!!!!! It was very evident that guys deserve to be pampered too and I think they really like it when their wives are the ones that are pampering them!

Hope this helps.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

What a great story! Glad it went so well for you. :) Now you can feel comfortable following up with the guys later on....gift ideas for the wives on birthdays/holidays, etc.

You said: <<lots of SOH and ER lotion and they all bought the lip balm after I told them about Carmex and Chapstick>>

What did you say about Carmex and chapstick??

I ask "who uses Carmex"? If you notice the lid on the carmex, it says "for cold sores". That is Carmex's main function, to dry up cold sores. So when you use it on your lips, it is actually sucking out all the moisture from your lips. So, when you hear about people being addicted to carmex, they aren't kidding. And chapstick, while it certainly serves a purpose, is simply a stick of wax. It is great for protecting the lips in windy situations. On a boat, snow skiing, etc.

Hope this helps.

Two words........ok, maybe three....lol....

Seriously tho....denise has a couples spa invite that I include in the pack that I pass around with all the other sample invitations at my spas. It gets people thinking about different themes. Denise is a member of this board. Check out the website and I believe you can request a sample pack which is perfect to laminate, hole punch, and place on a ring to pass out at your spas to give people ideas on different types of parties they can have.
