I was just on the A---- site. On the first page it talks about the new NVPs. So I clicked there. Donna Johnson's name and picture are listed as a new NVP.
I thought she was an Exec NVP. What happened?

I have no idea why she's listed in the section of new NVPs because there's no question she's an ENVP. She's atthe top of the Million Dollar Club every month with quite a margin (we're talking a margin of like $12 - $15 million separating her from the #2 spot). All I can guess is there's some sort of glitch which is pulling her EOA into the new NVP webpage.

She is a mom of seven and she was a swim coach before she did @bon. I do not know about any other companyshe was every in.

She was previously w/another company in addition to the swim coaching. I thought it was either MK or Avon, I can't remember for sure though.

Donna mentions in her EOA that she was in a different company (and not happy) when she met A****'s founder, Peiter Morck. I am not sure where I read it, but I believe I read that she was with Jafra.
Many of our NVP's were with other companies before coming to A****. Phoebe James was with Jafra (with the company car, etc.) when she decided to start over. I read somewhere that Sandra Tillinghast was with MK as a Sales Director (w/ the pink car) when she switched. More recent NVP's include Wendy Mitchell (Creative Memories), Nina McCallie (one of the jewelry lines I think), RVP Gail Routon (Pampered Chef). I am sure there are many more.
I think this speaks to policies and procedures...while we should not "actively pursue or recruit" people from other direct selling companies, we all have friends who are in DS and when they see the success we are achieving with A****, they can't help but join!! Wendy Mitchell said that she started her CM biz at the same time Shannon Johnson started her A***. Within two years, Shannon was outearning her 40 to 1 and working a whole lot less!! And she wasn't "playing CM," she was a unit director and had her home open every week for crop parties, etc.
Anyhow, don't write anyone off. People who already have successful DS businesses are still potential team members.

She is under Thea O'Donoughue.. who was a car driver with Jafra before @ so maybe she was too. Not sure.
