OK. Not to long ago I posted on here about helping a friend set up a DS business with her jewerly. After alot of prayer and hard thoughts she decided that was not the way she wanted to go. I totaly, understand and respect her decision, I also recently found out another reason why. I recently talked to her again about selling her jewerly just selling it in a home party over the internet, craft shows etc. way, I really do not want to pressure her but knowing the other reason way gave me hope. I love, love, love her stuff, on a daily basis get compliments. She has 2 other ladies selling for her in other military bases. I would like to sit down and talk with her about options, what would best benefit her and myself. The commision is at 20%, I don't mind that because A. Her prices are not way there and B. party averages are $750.00 -$1,000.00. Even $2,000.00, craft show averages are $5,000.00. Give me some suggestions on what to talk with her about. The other two girls she has selling for her she just send them the jewerly, they do not buy from her or take orders she says here is the spring line sell it. I am so close to her I can just go over and pick mine up.

A true affiliate program is a free programwhere one wouldsign up to sell other people's products for a commission. This is usually Internet based and the program would offer banners/buttons and possibly text ads for their affiliates to promote their products. Make sense?

With this gal you are talking about it sounds more like a wholesale program.

Sounds like her items sell really well with the averages you mentioned.

I would just sit down with her and brainstorm ideas. An affiliate program would only be good if she could guarantee that she would be able to produce enough pieces and of course she would need a website to promote if she doesn't have that already.
