I was studying around today on the
Arbonne web site, and I read that
Arbonne's official position is to use
samples instead of the full bottles
of the system.

Now I cannot remember where I saw
that statement.

Any comments on this?

Thanks,

I pesonally use the full-size bottles. If you want a true test try using the sample packet yourself. It's a pain, and quite messy it's hard to control how much product your getting.

Arbonne's stance is to use the samples, it's a liability thing. They want the consultants to be more "vigilant" about making sure no tampered products get passed from person to person and so they endorse the sample packs be used for the REsults Approach. The full sized bottles have the pumps that no contanimants can get inside of, but what's stopping the person from unscrewing the top of the bottle? I have seen where consultants will "seal" the bottles with labels so they'll be able to tell if a bottle has been opened or not. What I have done a few times when I've needed to use the sample pack instead of the fullsized bottles- I place the sample packs in the gold totes, along with the arbonneNOW brochure and cd, whatever other sample packs I may have on hand that Ithink that person would appreciate, etc and bring along a full sized set to the drop off and show them the amount they should use by actually pumping a bottle so they know that a little goes a long way. Then when I Close I also bring the fullsized bottles that I personally use, I unscrew the top of the gold ring from the orange sleeve and pull the clear "test tube" container out and show them exactly how much of that bottle is left and this is after 3 months usage so you can get an idea of how long these products last. The samples will work as long as you get a commitment that they will use the products and you have a follow up appointment. I believe that how we do this is up to the consultant, just know that Arbonne will not be held responsible should the product be tampered with, my advice- seal your bottles so you know if they've been opened.

also, another thing with the samples is to have them poke a hole into the pack instead of tearing it. a gal on my team did this with a sample pack and it lasted her nearly an entire month!

Great information.

Thanks so very much.

I am learning that you HAVE
to get a commitment to use
the samples and you HAVE to
preset that next appointment.

Awesome answer Cassandra! I will have to remember the tip about the hole in the packet also.

I would love to try samples, as I can't afford to purchase any more sets! I've been hesitant to try the samples as people have said they aren't used as often. So, Cassandra, you package them up with exciting stuff, and show them how to Poke holes in them? Then you make the follow up before leaving the samples there?

What kind of results are you getting from this procedure?

The follow up apt is made yes, and since the samples are delivered in the gold bag, you have a reason to come back (to pick up the gold bag). I have only done thisa few times, either because of not having an available set, or not trusting the individual to take care of the bottles (sad to say, but some people are just very messy, kwim?). So far, it's been 2 out of 4 have bought the entire set, one having bought wash, toner, day and the other not interested. Like I said, I usually don't do the samples, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do.

That is so true----"one has to do
what one has to do". However, if
one does all he/she can do, it does
work out in the end.
