I recommend donating prizes whenever you can.
It's great exposure!!
I donated a $25 prize for a moms of multiples group.
The lady who asked me to donate is a customer of mine
as well.
I donated a 16 oz. apothecary jar in "Doodle Bug"(one of
my best sellers), a 2 pk. car freshener in Snuggles
and a Shea Butter and Sugar Cane bar soap.
She just called me today and said she LOVES the Doodle
Bug scent and ordered herself a big jar of it.
I can't wait to see what other orders will come from it.
And of course, I added a catalog, scented biz card

Michelle- Yep- I have gotten many sales from contests I sponsored. Great tip! I also put together baskets for different local raffles with a variety of votives with a pretty holder.
