Chelle Sari handbags may be a nice gift item to add to your store. I can tell you more about them if you would like to PM me or you can go to the Chelle website listed in my sig. Chelle is the manufacturer of the handbags so you will be getting the best price...no middle man. The website does not list wholesale prices, if you would like to know prices before inquiring to Chelle, PM me!
I wish you luck with your new store!

I found a great source to get items to sell and I've even bought stuff for my own personal use. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Everything is 40-60% below wholesale so it's all VERY inexpensive!
They <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">will drop ship[/B] too! And you don't have to buy a whole bunch of items - you can get one or you can get 100.
Just go to www.payjusthalf.com (http://www.payjusthalf.com/)
You have to have the <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">discount code <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">LC-</st1:City> <st1:PostalCode w:st="on">31295</st1:PostalCode></st1:place> - A1 - 000[/B]
They have all kinds of stuff and they add more items every day.
Clothes, Auto Accessories, Bikes, Scooters, Jewelry, Tools, Electronics, Microwave Ovens, Toys, Watches, Radios, Clocks, Candles, Luggage....
Happy Shopping!

I forgot to mention that payjusthalf.com is a USA company - based in California. I know I've bought stuff from China in the past and the products take FOREVER to get here.

Worldwide Brands is an eBay certified company that is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau!
They provide a quality list of real wholesalers, "not middlemen" that can actually dropship products for you.
You can check out: http://www.homejobsite.com/Wholesale_Drop_Shipping.htmlfor more information on this topic.

Often importing is the best way to get stock that your competitors don't have and you get the advantages of being known for having something special and different while not having to worry about price competition.
It can be easier doing business with other countries with the same language and a shared cultural value.
I know I've had a lot of lessons to learn with my French suppliers as they communicate differently (I don't mean in a different language, just more sensitive and defensive) and it is simply a matter of getting use to them and how they approach business. I've learned in doing business with the Japanese you don't ask a question that could have a 'no' answer as to them answering 'no' is rude. It can be tricky figuring out how to structure a question to work with this!
Generally you'll find business between USA, Canada, Australia, New Zeland, the UK and Ireland is all very easy as the cultural differences are very slight. The Australians and New Zelanders are the most easy going but manners matter as much to them as they do to the Britains and Irish and being rude is considered bad form. So there's not much difference in doing business between these countries.
Also, getting insurance for goods being shipped between these countries is easy (something to do with the shared history in immigration, being on the same side as each other in war, similar government and economic structures etc) and shipping isn't expensive.
Anyway, if you want something that your competitors don't have and want the advantages importing is an easy and profitable solution.
I export my jewelry (http://www.creativelybelle.com/gallery.htm) all over the world and find that customers love having something different to their friends and family that gets loads of compliments.
I import regularly too and find it easy as pie.

This site has most of their items for right around 10.00 or under. They have a free dropshipping program too. I've used them three times now to sell on ebay. Everything checked out okay and went very well.
