My team and I are doing a toyraiser to help the children. I've talked to many people down there, and am just hammering out the details on where to mail the toys. They are doing so much to help everyone down there and I wish I was in Texas.
These children are devasted. They have nothing left. No home, no food, no clothes. Everything dear to them is gone. Our goal is to give them something that is their's, that will also serve as an activity to help keep them occupied during the next few months. It's not much, but every bit helps. We will be donating toys and books.
If anyone would like to contribute, please let me know.
You can help a few ways, if you are aDT consultant, email me for details! The more toyraising, the better.
You can help by picking a toy from our approved list. These toys are ones that will be easy for them to take from shelter to shelter, compact, and without a lot of pieces.
Or you can make a donation. All amounts welcome, from $1 to $100.
PM me for more info!
Thanks!
Debbie

Thanks Rebecca! You've been a push for it.
I talked to the Salvation Army down there and they are sooo appreciative. I plan to use this weekend to get going so I can send down my first order!
