View Full Version : Shampoo and Conditioner

I gave a sample of the shampoo and conditioner
to an accountant a couple of days ago. I talked
to her this morning; she said the shampoo dried
her hair too much. She also said she had "wierd"
hair. I gave her a RE9 sample and sort of dropped
the shampoo discussion.

What could/should I have said in reference to the
shampoo?

Thanks,

Adding to the above post, I realize shampoo and conditioner use depends on hair length, but how many pumps are you folks using. I have shoulder length hair and it seams to take 5 pumps to get it to lather.

It was my understanding that it will not lather like other shampoos because they do not include the ingredients that cause the lather.

The shampoo is very thick and very concentrated. I found that it works better - lathers better - and lasts longer if it is diluted with water.

I use a spare empty arbonne shampoo bottle and put a few pumps of shampoo into it. Then I mix in a little water, swirl it around, and pump it out right onto the head.

It lathers AWESOME this way!I understand some people are defensive about diluting our products, but this is what works best for me and my water (water conditions vary greatly from place to place).

Another way to get a lather is to wash twice. Use only 1 pump per
wash. You'll find that it lathers better on clean hair. So,
of course, you don't need the second wash, but many people tell me that
they don't feel like their hair is clean if they don't get the lather.

I find that I don't like the shampoo and cond. as much when my hair is wet when I get out of the shower. It's very tangly and doesn't feel as clean as when I use other sh & co. HOWEVER, once it dries, my hair feels awesome! (If that makes any sense smileys/smiley17.gif)

I have a crew cut and use a wash cloth
on ALL my hair. I like it wet and dry (there
is no real difference) :-)

thanks,

As far as the drying her hair out...the shampoo is self adjusting. It takes a couple of days to adjust. My hair felt kind of dry too at first when I used it but after a few days it was fabulous!

Thanks. This lady is now trying the RE9 system.
There is still hope for her. I think she would make
a great new business builder.

smileys/smiley36.gifoh my, that makes PERFECT sense! I almost gave up on the shampoo and conditioner because my hair didn't "feel" 'right' when wet. Through the summer I would ALWAYS wear my long hair up in either a ponytail or in a bun, went to the pool nearly every day with my 3 kids. Never took the time to actually do anything with it since it was always too hot for long hair down the back anyhow.

NOW, the past few days, out of the 'pool' mood and actually doing my hair and IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE SHINIEST, HEALTHIEST, MOST VIBRANT IT HAS EVER BEEN IN ALL OF MY 35 YEARS! I am so happy!smileys/smiley4.gif I have always had long hair and before Arbonne I thought I was starting to look... "Granola" smileys/smiley36.gif. But I don't look 'granola' anymore, I actually have "movie-star" hair! I've been playing with it this past week since I've had alot of time in the house (car is in the shop! $3,400 fender bendersmileys/smiley18.gif). I have found that I can curl my hair and the curls will stay without using chemicals- gels, mousses or sprays!

Anyhow, if you try the shampoo and don't like it, trust me- give it a chance to work the Arbonne magic!

Hi Emily,

You made perfect sense to me as well! The first time I used it, I was not to sure but I have been using for the last few weeks and ABSOLUTELY love it. I even went back and used my old brand just to make sure I was not imagining things. LOL...guess where my old shampoo and conditioner is now....in the trash! I will be using Arbonne from now on!

I have now tried the shampoo & conditioner. The first time I used it, it seemed overly dry after I used the blow dryer. After I styled it (with the flat iron/straightner) it seemed better. I have to say that now after the 4th use, I am really loving it!!

I use the anti-flake and my snow storm went away after about a month. Also, my dd who has always had very little hair (she is now 4 and almost has a full head:)) has been using the adjusting and her hair is finally GROWING!!!

I love Arbonne - sometimes we just have to use things for a while to experience the benefit and get rid of the yucky stuff!!
