I read a thread where one of our reps had a double home party with another home party plan.
I thought that was a GREAT idea!
Can you think of other home party businesses that I could approach about doing double parties? Businesses that would compliment Mia Bella and not conflict with Mia Bella?
I've thought of Mary Kay as I have a good friend who is a rep. Anyone else?

oh, Mary Kay is a wonderful one, or a bath and body company.
I actually have done open houses with a woman who sells Beijou Bags and and jewelry distributor. We have great fun!

There are quite a few Pampered Chef reps in our area.... I would think that would be a good compliment. It goes along with the "Dinner by Candlelight" theme Maureen mentioned.
Beauticontrol does spa experience parties..... you could supply the mood lighting and aromatherapy for one of those.

Someone made a good point once regarding teaming with a food co. They said to try to put the displays on opposite sides of the room, because too many scents (candles & different foods) may get overpowering or interfere with each other. I don't know though, because I burn candles at dinner all the time, but it's just something to consider.
You may find a Shaklee rep. Non-toxic cleaners go with the flow of cleaner burning candles. I haven't done parties w/ both, but I do have both in my massage office. :)

I've done joint parties with candle reps - I do AVON - we've done spa type ones, we've done pamper yourself ones - with a little skin care thing on my part, then we've done a home decor one - around the holidays - christmas, easter, thanksgiving, summer etc -
IT was a lot of fun - I am not a big party person - it's important that the person is not competitive so that the guests feel special not pressured - I learned to have a structure and process agreed upon right up front - has worked much better.

Very good points to consider ladies. Thank you!
I thought about the food aromas with the candles as well. And that we'd have to have an agreement made beforehand - who goes first, how long each presentation is, how customers are involved, etc.
I have another friend who does Arbonne which may work well too!
Boy - now I've got my brain working in overdrive - again! hehehe

You ladies may want to link up with a Send Out Cards rep. I think it would be the perfect complement.
How aboutthis?
Candles and Cards
"Light up the night, and send your regards!"
Or something like that...
I thought of that in about 5 seconds, so don't bash me(please).I'm sure you can come up with something better.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts?

Like Chris stated, teaming up with a romance party lady is a great idea. I'm involved in a romance company and I use both to compliment each other. Candles....Romance...they fit well =)

What do you mean by a romance party? I am asking because I was approached to do a party with an Undercover rep. Is this the same type of thing?

Undercover rep?!? I'm not sure what that is. Romance parties are with reps from romance companies like Passion Party, For Your Pleasure, Brown Bag Party. Romance party reps do shows with romance enhancement items and things =)

I also think victorian rose is soooo romantic - especially with rose petals strategically placed around the room and bath. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif
