Has anyone had a Men's Only Party? My husband showed the BYB catalog to his boss, and his boss went crazy. "These would be great gifts to make with the kids for my wife for Christmas!"

So, I was thinking about making my husband have a "Men's Party." Anyone ever have one? Was it successful? What kind of games would you play with men?!

Thanks!

Melissa

Men actually like parties. I took my husband to a ParyLite party
once and he loved it. Maybe try some raffle or auction games,
guys LOVE to compete with each other, just make sure it doesn't get too
rowdy.

I have done a few! But, considering my product, it's not that uncommon (plus a lot of couples parties).

Before doing this, I use to be with a candle company and did a couple of men's only parties. I focused on gifts and things they could do to create the romantic ambiance of candle light for their special someones (i.e., dinner by candle light, treating their spouse to a bubble bath w/candles around the room, etc.).

Your husband's boss is a marketing genius and probably doesn't even know it! Why not have an all men's party and maybe don't worry so much about games, as much as teaching them various projects they can do with their kids to create one-of-a-kind gifts (and gifts for mom, grandma, teacher, etc.). I'll bet that would be fabulous!smileys/smiley4.gif

I had a men's only valentines party this past February and it went quite well. The guys really liked the fact they were designing something for their honey! smileys/smiley2.gifWe didn't play any type of games...

I do a lot of couple presentations. Men do care about how they look as well. I also did some special for V-day and guys got their wives some nice gifts. Bath Salts, Oils, and Lotions... they loved it.

Men are girly sometimes. My husband goes to show with me all the time. He loves stuff that has to do with food of course. smileys/smiley2.gif

My husband plans on doing a men's party with my jewelry so they can buy Christmas gifts for their wives. He plans to do it on an afternoon with a football came and serve pizza and beer. I am all for it because from what I hear they are a great success.

HAHAHA!!! We're always trying for jewlery, aren't we?? How about a party with the men in the living room with football and jewlery and their wives in another room with wine andromance enrichment products? Something for everyone and everyone always wins!

Just a thought.... smileys/smiley2.gif

That is an idea. I might have to pass that by him when he decides when he will do the jewelry party.

When I sold Pampered Chef, I did a Men Only grill party. It was
alot of fun, they pay attention much better than women do, BUT none of
them, I repeat NOT ONE of them, would purchase anything without talking
to their wives first! LOL!
