If you have the opportunity to read this book I would encourage you to move it to the top of your list! He included so many incredible stories of people who visualized (& put in the work to make it happen http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif) their future success. It is difficult to read it and not become motivated or invigorated!!
There's always a story attached to something isn't there? About 2 years ago in my former life as a property manager who worked 60+ hours per week, I went on a week vacation to Bonita Springs with my hubby. While at the airport I saw this book & thought I would give it a whirl. I started reading it and was really impressed with it...so much so that I bought it for my entire staff all the way down to the maintenace staff. I knew it was an important book and shared that with them. Unfortunately I was drawn back into the heavy workload and the book began to gather dust on my bookshelf. After being downsized, I went through a slump and didn't read much of anything. (Thank goodness I was laid off or I would never have been open to theArb0nneopportunity!!) Fast forward to the last few weeks, I have picked the book back up and started at the beginning again. Timing is everything! It applies to where I am today and provides a multitude of fabulous ideas, encouragement, & inspiration!
As a funny side note, I just had one of my previous staff members call me last week to talk about The Secret & during the discussion she realized this book was a very important piece of implementing it in her life. Jack Canfield rocks!! He doesn't allude to it being a piece of cake or wishing things into existence.
ETA: The complete name of the book is TheSuccess Principles How toGet from Where YouAre to Where YouWant toBe
Sorry for the long post...I am simply empowered & wanted to share it!! Edited by: Kiana's Mom

Teresa, thanks so much for the info. I was so intrigued by The Secret.
I picked up a magazine today, American Dream Homes. There a some huge, beautiful homes in this magazine. The check out girl was a teenager. Her jaw dropped when she saw the house on the cover. I turned to a picture of a house with a pool. She said she could never have something like that. Duh me. I didn't say anything. It wasn't until I got home and started to read my magazine that I thought, "I should have told her she could have something like that." I felt sooo bad. I will make it a point to see her again and to tell her she can have it if she really wants it.

Good catch Champion! So many people have no idea that their dreams can come true! I'll have to look for the quote my life coach put on the blackboard at a regional meeting. It made chills go down my spine!
Speaking of dream homes, Schumacher Homes has a model here (year round since they are a private builder) and anytime I need a boost or just want to spend time in my new home I swing by. I don't just mean a quick in and out either...LOL! I spend 1-2 hours there when I go. I have taken friends, family, side lines, my sponsor. They know me well there and they know I am a future customer...hehehe...they also know who I am with and they get little gifts when I come by. I love that it's only about 40 minutes away...close enough so that I can still drop by but far enough that I don't spend all my income producing activity tme there!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif Hmmm...there's a thought...perhaps I could take my laptop & cell phone and actually work out of what will be my office...just joshin'...kind of!Edited by: Kiana's Mom

Kiana's mom,
that made me laugh out loud...working from your "office." I think it's a great idea...i will have to find one I like around here and try it! =)
I have taken my kids to crawl around in the mercedes I want ( much to the dealerships dismay...I just walked on the lot and let them get in the vehicle...I was given some pretty odd looks) they ask all the time how close we are. I wish I had a better answer for them. My 10 yr old wants to sign up "so he can help me get closer." =)

oh FYI, I am pretty sure that there is a L&B by Jack Canfield on this same topic. I would say it's probably under personal dev or leadership...I just know I heard it on my mp3.
