Just curious about what the different companies do...
Do you offer a Fundraiser program?
What does the group get (%)?
What does the Consultant (you) get (%)?
Do you make this a strong part of your business?

Hi Charlee!
Tupperware offers Fundraisers.
The group earns 40% of the retail sales.
Consultant earns 25% of the 60% (after org. gets their 40%)
I am working on a lead now for a local 10 and under girls softball team. :) It's not my primary focus but I do think its a great opportunity.

Traverus has a GREAT fundraising plan.... as a member of the fundraising team at my DDs school we are constantly looking for 'static' opportunities... ones that don't take manpower or a set selling period. We want things that run in the background and provide a stream of commission.
In a nutshell, Traverus offers:
Free website for the organization
20% commission to the organization
Matching funds (dependent on the program)
Promotional assistance

Sarah Coventry Jewelry offers Fundraisers. The group gets 20% of sales and the Consultant gets 20% of sales. With my product being directly shipped to the customer, the Organization doesn't have to worry about making deliveries.
I don't do many of these but will when asked. I too am working with a girls traveling softball team to set this up.

Hi Charlee. Mia Bella's offers fundraisers to organizations or private parties.
As independent distributors we are able to decide what profit per candle we would like to go to the organization. Then we receive the rest.
So it can be 50/50 or 60/40, whichever we choose.
I'm starting to make this a large part of my business. It's a GREAT way to help out an organization, get your name out, and make a profit! We are able to do these all across the nation.
I love it being able to offer this to groups.

With Latasia Jewelry we make up our own fundraising program. I personally do 35% or 40% of the sales to the organization and keep 15% or 10% for myself since we make 50% profit. Latasia is also test marketing specific fundraisers with themed jewelry and the possibilities are the organization gets 40% of the sales and the consultant still keeps around 25% of the sales for themselves. I'm excited about this direction because it means more money in the consultants pockets at the same time as putting more money in the organization coffers. But, we'll always have the personal choice on how we want to do our fundraisers.

One of the big reasons I joined SimplyFun in February was because of their FunDraising program! Schools, PTA's, church groups, scouts.........are all looking for fundraisers that are FUN, new, exciting, calorie-free, and non-perishable!! SimplyFun offers 16.7% to the group, and I have the option of donating part or all of my 25%commission. I raise the group's profit to a total of 30%.
I host Game Nights, and we offer e-fundraisers, too, so that people all over the country can place orders and contribute to the cause.
SimplyFun brings families together through play. And our products are not just for kids......adults love our games, too!
PM me if you'd like more details!

Hi Charlee,
Watkins does offer a fund raiser program. We can also promote our own version as well.
I offer the program but do not put a lot of focus on it as I promote several avenues. It's free to set up a non profit organization and they would get 25%. The sponsor will get 5 -15% depending on their overall sales.
We as associates can also offer temporary fund raiser as well. I've done these in the form of a home party. It's very flexable, so if you'd like more details, please PM me and I can explain the various choices.

I will add that I am trying to incorporate fundraisers into my offerings as well. My sponsor is very successful with it but she is also a school teacher and has really good connections that way.
For us, we make up our own program. You can donateyour commission (usually 25-30% of total sales) and write a check for the fundraiser when the party is done. You can have a spa party or people cancollect catalog ordersor you can give them a URL to order online. The person who organizes it gets to keep all the hostess gifts that are earned which is usually 20% of the total sales in free products.
You may not make any money right away but since we do get bonuses for our personal volume, you will get a higher bonus on your overall sales.

Home and Garden Party offers a fundraiser program that can be tailored to the organization. We offer flyers as well as catalog orders. Groups select the pricing that allows them to earn their goal.

Usborne Books does fundraisers as well. The organization has choices of all books, cash, or a combination of books and cash.
As for consultants- is the the most profitable thing I do...so it is an important part of my business!! One reading program I did paid in full and in cash for a trip for two to a Sandals resort in Jamaica for a week!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif
