What is Gary's email? I need to ask a question about Microderm Abrasion. Someone is saying that BC's MDA is the worst you can use because the aluminum oxide crystals actually tear the skin......I wanted to ask him and the search function is disabled so I can't look to find it :)
thanks
thanks

hey Krista--was this from a MK person? lol
I love the MDA, and do not agree with that at all.

did you know that aluminum oxide is found in some cd/dvd cleaners? It is used to clean the area WITHOUT LEAVING SCRATCHES ON THE SURFACE. If it can used to clean a cd without leaving a scratch, I'm sure it does the same on the face. Besides, one of the big pluses about our MDA is that the crystals are all made in a uniform shape to prevent it from being too harsh. Has this person actually used the MDA before? or are they just being a party pooper? Other at home MDA sets are not of BC's quality. The analogy I was given was that if you take a glass and drop it on the floor, it breaks into a million pieces of different sizes, shapes, and textures. That describes the buffer material of your typical at-home MDA...it's harsh and without uniform pieces and that attention to detail, you get something that instead of buffing your skin, will actually cut and do damage. Ours is the best...I don't care what anyone says. Nobody talks bad about BC and gets away with it!!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

hey-did you know that our MDA got 2 thumbs up from Good HOusekeeping? they did a study of home MDA products and ours came in #2. The #1 pick is a European version, that sells for $180!
I'm sure Gary will give you a great answer to your question. PLEASE post his answer here when you hear from him. If you can't reach him at Product@bc.... try Gary.Jones@BeautiControl.com (Gary.Jones@BeautiControl.com) He should answer you at either address though. :)

I don't know why people feel the need to bash other companies to
promote their own products. If your products are good, they will sell
themselves when people try them and when you are able to give them
knowledable advice about using them.

thanks sam for reminding us about the good housekeeping thing...they don't give that distinction to just anyone...to get a GH approval you have to be good...since the number 1 from them is in europe you could even say that GH voted us #1 in the US and still #2 in the world...
