A girl on my meetup.com group posted this and I thought I would share...
She wanted to tell everyone about a great service that she uses to makeher customer's reminder calls.
Its called: PostCalls - Instant Group Messaging for Businesses and I recommend that you give it a try...
you record a message that you want sent to all of the guests, then upload the telephone list and it makes the calls for you, plus it also give you a report.
Go to www.postcalls.com (http://www.postcalls.com/)
Looks like it might be a great tool......

Wow! What a great idea! Now if you had any suggestions on how to get the hostess to hand over the phone numbers....?!

Great in theory, but the whole point of party plans is the personal touch. Sending a recorded message suggests that they aren't worth your time to call directly. I immediately hang up on recorded calls to my house. Hubby does, too.

http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gifI always listen to any message and talk to everyone...I can always say no and if it is recording even better..I figure in this business it's Karma.... what goes around...
I have the hostess do reminder calls so they can get outside orders and are able to let me know how many are coming...
But there may be some good use for it...like sending out reminders about sales, new catalogs etc. Maybe you would make personal calls to hostesses, best customers and recent customers and use a message to send to others....
Just some more thoughts!!

I realize it's easier to have a message call them but aren't the hostesses supposed to be getting outside orders if their friends can't attend or asking them to book parties? Now I know not all hostesses do that but you're removing that opportunity if you automate your reminder calls.
I agree with Christy that the personal touch goes a long way in this business. For me, a recorded reminder doesn't send the message I truely want to convey to my future customers and recruits. I'm glad it's working for some though.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm....might be a nice idea for reminder calls for a downline/group, though.....
Maybe a reminder for a conference call or event?
Just a thought....
