Hi,
My name is Sandy and I am a 29 yo SAHM mom of 2 girls. I have been interested in becoming a demonstrator for a 'romance' company for quite sometime. I am now in a position that I am ready to buy my kit and am trying to decide which company to pursue.
I am looking at (so far): Pure Romance, Slumber Parties, Passion Parties, Spice It Up Parties. I would really like to know some of the pro's and con's of each (and I am open to more!). I would like to know things like the typical commision and hostess benefits and also things like who carries lingerie, plus sizes and the quality of products with each company. I am very interested in a company that sells lingerie in plus sizes as I am plus size myself.
I am in the process of looking at each online and I have ordered the info packets from a couple of the companies so far. I would also like to know if any let you sell on your own private website or if any provide website's for you.
I am also wondering if people on here can 'sponsor' me or whatever it is called to help me get up and running. By sponsor I mean be my 'mentor' helping me know what to order and have on handand tips and ideas for parties. I would like someone who is very active and can really give me some great advice. I have heard somestories about people starting under other women and they have had no help whatsoever from those women.
I will have my money for the kit by early next week. I am anxious to get going on this now I have made the decision to do it. I am not familiar with being a demonstrator at all, although I have been at many 'home parties' including the usual Pampered Chep, Tupperware and also two 'romance parties'. One by Pure Romance in the USA and a 'Fantasia' Party in Canada.
I also want an idea of the 'rules' that are involved in what you can and can't do as a member of these companies. Like, if men can attend for couple's parties, and can you sell on ebay or your private site.
So, anyone who cansend me the pro's and con's of the company they work for, I wouldappreciate it.
