Michele, you go girl!!!! When I was at Leadership I signed my DIQ and dated it 6/1 as I only had one person in my downline actively holding spas. But boy did I receive a very, very, very clear message at Leadership that it was about sharing the experience more so than just sharing the product. My whole purpose changed. My whole presentation changed. My whole direction changed. My whole life is changing smileys/smiley2.gif. Kinda freaky huh. In less than a month, I have signed on 3 more ladies who will actively hold spas. So....

DIQ here I come smileys/smiley4.gif.

Good Luck Michele, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

All, hope you are all going to Celebration! Be ready to wake upsmileys/smiley2.gif.

Good for you ohiospa!

I have 25 in my whole unit-but only one or two are selling! I just recruited about five so far this month so we will see what they do! I hope I get some more that are willing to sell and build their team up!

That is what I am scared of-that I won't meet my quota'ssmileys/smiley5.gif

Thanks for all the encouraging words!!!smileys/smiley1.gif

I don't want this to sound cryptic but honestly I started out as most everyone else, using the flip-cards which are a fantastic guide.

The wonderful thing about our business is that it is truly a journey. I'm sure everyone has a "why" as to why they joined BC. If not, think about it and actually write it down.

My why has been changing. After leadership, I sat down and thought about my short term goals w/BC and my long term goal. I wrote those down. Then, I started making a list on how I would achieve those goals and what it would take. Then, I started thinking about my presentation of my spa escapes and how I could enhance what I was currently doing to support my short term goals (recruiting not just wholesaler's but people really interested in the career). I then scripted out my passion for this company (and yes, I still use my "dream bag") smileys/smiley2.gif

I'm certain while most of us have the same long term goal, our short term goals may be different. I would challenge each of you to give the above exercise a shot. Reflection can be huge and just as important as relaxing "me" time.

The first spa that I used my new script (and yes I had to refer back to my notes) I recruited my first sales person off the bat.

Everyones journey is different and once you are able to articulate your own "why", your business will take off!!!!!

If you are still interested in reading my own script, let me know and I will email (but remember, your presentations will only be effective when each of you personalize it to reflect your passions:)

After Leadership it changed my presentation a bit as well...I don't have a script I just tell everyone what an awesome experience it was to meet regular people who have succeded greatly and since then I have recruited 1 at every spa and most want to sell.

Can I also see a copy of your script?

I just signed my DIQ for 4/1/07. I am scared to death!Actually, I think I'm CRAZY! But, BC is my passion! It is what I want to do when I "grow-up". I want to lead and teach others. SO, signing DIQ is the first step. Wish me luck, pray for me and my team!

Hey Kari,
I am in the same boat-how many is on your team? Do you think you are strong enough? I am not strong enough right now-but with my new recruits hopefully I will be! My director keeps telling me to stop worrying because I can start over-but I don't want to start over-I want to succeed the first time!!

Michele,

Up until Leadership I only had one spa-girl (holding spas) and 6 wholesalers. In the last month I have signed up 3 more that will hold spas and 3 more wholesalers. I know I am strong enough but like you I don't want to start DIQ until I am solidly ready. Right now, things are looking good and on track. I now have 13 overall active consultants but until my other girls start holding spas, I cannot promote up to Unit Manager because of the $$$ requirement. Hopefully next month. Then I will have a better feel for the 6/1 DIQ date:) Keep up the hard work!!!! You can do it!

Okay I am cornfused-are you signing your DIQ this month or waiting until June? Don't you get pumped up whenever you get someone new on your team that is excited? I do.....I have signed up 8 so far and 3 of them before I even did a spa for the promotion-I am soooo pumped up this time! I love sharing this with people who have never heard of Beauticontrol-and then when I give them the 'gift" of pampering and the love it and they are all relaxed-I love it even more! Are you going to Celebration? I am trying to get my new recruits pumped up for it....any ideas?

My goal is to go DIQ June 1st. Trust me, I am so pumped up I'm driving my director crazy. Hehehe. I still have 6 spas to go this month http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley10.gif. I'm jazzed!

Celebration......CAN'T WAIT! I am working on my 4 "spagirls" to join me. If they all do, we are going to cram into one room. One has already signed up.Some of the selling points I am using are:
1) Free product, 2) They get to tour the Research and Development Institute, 3) They get to see the new stuff before it comes out, 4) awesome ordering opportunities 5)and ofcourse girlfriend time!

Kari, I'd love to see your script too! I have not had a spa this month because I am concentrating on helping my girls get to work, having spa training days with them and doing a LOT of motivation techniques to keep them focused on the reason why the opportunity touched them in the first place. I am getting to know all of my girls' "why's" so that I can target training just for them. When I get back to my spas in April (5 on the books already), I want to have as much amunition as I can. I AM going to South Beach!!!

abjansen@verizon.net (abjansen@verizon.net)

Please share your script if you don't mind....and I agree, I use the flip cards like I could not do the spa without them. It makes it seem so easy for those girls that want to do it as a business. They don't have to memorize anything, just love to share!!!

Just had to share!
I drove an hour and 40 minutes to do a spa with someone I have only met once and who sells Simply Tasteful! She had 8 girls there-and I forgot some of my stuff! Luckily, she helped me out.......but long story short......I recruited one (although 5 were almost ready to sign-took them an hour to debate it) 5 BOOKINGS, and over $300 in sales!!! Well worth the trip-my hostess is thinking about joining-I REALLY want her to so that she can take over these bookings for me.ha
So pumped-great spa-very tired.....but worth it-that makes 9 recruits so far.YEAH!!!!

Michele,

Thank you sooooooo much for sharing. That is what it is all about!!!! Sometimes we walk away from a spa where nothing happened, but I am sooooo faithful that there was a reason those took place. Then you also have those spas which are totally AWESOME!!!!! Way to go:)

I had a spa Friday night with 12 girls that were in their low 20's. No bookings, No recruits and only $60 in sales. (the two crying babies may have hampered the whole experience, wink) But I am confident that there was a reason I was there, even if it was just to give those two new moms some well deserved pampering!

Tonight on the other hand was great. 10 ladies, 3 bookings and 4 recruits! Sales only $100 but with 4 recruits, understandable.

ISN'T THIS COMPANY UNREAL?

You rock Kari! I wish my teammember could read your results. She was a little down because of her recent spa. Only two showed up, with only $25 in sales......so she was a little down...but like you said there are some good ones and some bads ones-you just can't let the bad ones get you down-you have to dust yourself off and keep trying. I know because before this spa I only had $16 in sales BUT got 3 recruits and no bookings for myself but the ones who signed up are booking spa's so that is good!!

You just never knowww........http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif
