I need help, PLEASE.
I bought some scripts for my website and the creator is going to install them for me but apparently I'm not giving him the information or access he needs. My site is hosted on Yahoo.
Do I need to set something up in yahoo before he can install the script? I gave him contractor access to allow him to work on my site, but he wrote back with the following. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Here is the message he sent me regarding access:
The info you have provided does not give me access to a control panel.
I need to get into phpMyAdmin or wherever you administer your
databases.
The original link you gave me shows a phpMyAdmin login but then just brings me to a blank page.

I know what phpMyAdmin is, but I do not know what kind of control panel Yahoo hosting uses or their different levels of access.
Unless he has full administrator access, though, he would probably not be allowed to access phpMyAdmin.
What kind of control panel does Yahoo use?

Well I did get my database set up and created a username and password for him to access.
I sent him the information, so I wait and see if he says it works.
Thanks and I may be back if it still doesn't work. smileys/smiley5.gif
